Hysterectomy and ovary removal plus excision of endometriosis- recovery tips please!!!
Hello all ❤ I had my surgery on Thursday. Does anyone have any advice to help me recover fully and well? (I'm already using estrogen patches and gel so I don't get a hormone deficiency). Endo was in uterus, ovaries and pelvis, plus on bowel. It's been a huge 23 slog, taking 20 years to get an endo diagnosis

HRT and Ovarian Cancer
Hi everyone. I was diagnosed end of 2020. Stage 1c endometriod adenocarcinoma at the age of 41. I was told I wasn't allowed HRT and assumed they meant forever.. so I figured out ways to help my body get through the menopause. Now just over a year later I'm doing great. I'm waiting for my yearly ct

Hi everyone. Just joined this site yesterday after a recent UCTD diagnosis. Last year, before my diagnosis, I was referred for gallbladder removal. This week, I received a telephone consultation appointment for May. I will ask any relevant questions during the consultation but was wondering meantime

Serous borderline tumor
I had surgery on September 16th - initially started as laparoscopic
removal
of fallopian tubes and left
ovary
(with a 5cm cyst). Surgeon thought everything looked good and while he was stitching me up - pathology in OR indicated a borderline tumor.

Effect of endometriomas, cysts and polyps?
However, another concern is: could the procedure of
removal
potentially cause damages to my
ovary
/uterus? How big would be the risk? Now I'm thinking to do 3 IVF cycles and freeze all embryos, and do frozen transfers after removing all the endometriomas/cysts and polyp.

Others' experience of Edoxaban and side effect of ongoing bleeding, swollen gums behind front teeth? Treatments? Alternative DOACS? Try?
Change from Warfarin to Edoxaban, then experiencing a bad bleed after bowel polypectomy by colonoscopy.

Recovery from Ovary and Fallopian Tube removal
Hi, I had a laparoscopy 3 weeks ago along with removal of both Ovaries and Fallopian tubes. During the procedure it was found that my ovaries were “stuck” to pelvic tissue. This meant the op took longer than expected. This would explain the excruciating pain I had been in, along with struggling to walk

Back from surgery
Hi- I’ve had my lap today and
removal
of left
ovary
and cyst. Also a small cyst on right ovary which didn’t know was there but ovary has been left which is good as I wanted to avoid surgical menopause. There was no endo to excise which I’m grateful about.

WHAT is even bleeding?
I'm so, I don't even know, frustrated, scared, both? I'm stable on Lymparza. Status is one known tiny tumor in right lower quadrant and one also tiny questionable mediastinum. Each one <1cm in May 2021 CT. Primary occurrence 2019 with "optimal" debulking. I already had a complete hysterectomy in 2008

Scared
I've posted in here a couple of times, but here's my story. I got admitted to the hospital in March of 2021 for gallbladder removal. My liver enzymes were very high. I was sent for an URQ ultrasound before surgery. This showed "The liver is hyperechoic and coarsened and echogenic texture". My surgeon
