Quick run down of my situation. I have gallbladder sludge and am having gallbladder out mid Nov and also have arrhythmias/tachycardia which needs no treatment, and have been discharged by cardiologist.
Staysure/Avanti will not cover me until I have had my surgery( which I understand) but will not cover my arrhythmia as having a cholecystectomy invalidates it! However if I were having a hip replacement, ( for example) they would cover the arrhythmia!!
I am angry and confused and really do not understand, but have to accept their conditions.
Has anyone dealt with this before - if so, who did they use for travel insurance?

You just have to shop around for an insurer who'll cover you. There's no shortcut. Last time I tried more than ten companies before getting one to cover me.
Thanks for the suggestions and I will be looking further for cover, but will also be writing to their underwriters to find out why there is this anomaly. I don’t expect to change anything, but am intrigued to know their logic!!
All Clear is the only one that will cover me with varices. Another one to try is Able to Travel they covered me when I only had a primary immune condition. But they are not cheap! Insurance companies just want to cherry pick healthy people! 😩😩😩
