Ear infection/Hearing Loss lead to Tinnitus?
Hello Quick history: Fungal Ear infection, blocked up, Tinnitus, ear cleaning micro suction, Tinnitus remained. Question: Can a fungal infection lead to hearing loss. My doctor and the ENTs docs said it’s possible but my ear drum and canals show no damage at all so my T should go eventually but I

Hearing blood pumping in my ear.
I was diagnosed about a year ago with an acoustic neuroma on the right side. As of last October, when I had my last MRI it was about 7mm in size. My doctor keeps telling me that I don't want to have surgery done if I don't absolutely need it. Over the past month or so I have been getting progressively

Listeria sucks
Hi. I'm 45 yrs old and was diagnosed with listeria bacterial menengitis in March 2018. I have spent 3 months in hospital and then home. It's been an intense struggle for me and i would like to know if it gets easier. Looking to know I'm not alone with this recovery

The Unanticipated, Unsolicited and Downright Unwanted Return of Me. There Goes The Neighbourhood.

Hard work after a short break
I’ve been doing graduation runs for the last fortnight and getting on fine, actually finding that I was getting a bit faster. Then I got ill and had bad vertigo caused by an inner ear infection so I couldn’t run for a week. I went out for the first time (in what was by then 10 days) on Thursday and for

NDT ..... feeling totally wiped out
I was taking 2.5 NDT but started feeling jittery, had palpitations and hot flushes during the night. Dropped to 2 grains and 3 weeks down the line I feel totally wiped out, banging headaches, tinnitus worse than it was and more aches and pains. I mentioned a while ago, I’m wondering if NDT is not for

Headache Cure?
Aimovig (erenumab-aooe)! Ask your neurologist! It's a once monthly subcutaneous injection that has (for the last 3 months) enabled me to have zero (that's right), ZERO, migraines. Itchy Scalp for months - slightly hair thinning but no visible scalp issues.
For the last 5 months, I have been suffering from an itchy scalp, primarily on the crown of my head. I went to see a General Practioner a

Fast(er) Run!
Tried a faster run the other day W7 R1 and managed it (upped my speed from 11min/km to 9min/km) and still managed to run for my 25 mins - it was probably about 3km. Did a bit of extra walking (afterwards) so that I could get a 'feel' for the full 5k distance (that might happen one day). I did discover

Hearing loss, tinnitus and vertigo... my journey update
I just wanted to update this forum on the latest outcomes I have experienced since joining last year. Looking back on my posts/rants, I am amazed at what I have had to go through to get some sort of progress with my symptoms. In a nutshell, despite all the experimentation I did last year with NDT v Levo

Respiratory infection triggering symptoms
After almost a year free of symptoms I contracted a respiratory tract infection that has left me with inflammatory pain in my shoulder, feet and hands. So far I am not as bad as I have been in the past however it was a similar respiratory virus that triggered my wort episode 7 years ago.

OH's pred has been removed from online repeat prescription; phoned surgery and it's been changed to "Acute" i.e. a single prescription each time. Reliable info from elswhere is that this has been done because reviews were being skipped. Dont' know whether thiis is local surgery, Wales HS or general
