Low Ferritin Symptoms
I have been going to my doctors for years complaining of weakness, pains in limbs, tinnitus. They did a ferritin test a few years ago and result was 50, down from 75 a few years before that. I was told everything is fine, nothing to worry about. Every time I go they only look at one symptom per appointment

Tinnitus
Hi, I am 5 months post ablation and still having regular ectopics but I know this can continue. I shared previously of intermittent blurred vision but now also have terrible tinnitus both seemed linked to the palpitations and all symptoms are worse after eating . Has anyone had anything similar? Thanks

Promising developments or a blip?
I have had Anosmia since before I was diagnosed with lupus. A while back I saw a forum discussion saying lupies with anosmia should have further investigations to rule out CNS involvements etc. With me also suffering sudden hearing loss 9 years ago, I decided to ask for an ENT appointment. That was yesterday

Hi. After a hospital appointment today where I had all the usual hearing tests I was referred for an MRI which came as a bit of a shock but he can’t see anything so thinks it may be more to do with nerves. My symptoms are significant hearing loss in my left ear, tinnitus and sometimes dizzy spells. I

Amitryptyline
Hi everyone, not posted on here before but read all posts. I have been prescribed amitryptyline for pain relief as I have problems with my lower back. It is 10mg liquid, has anyone had any experience of this drug. It is used for depression in higher dose but is said to be good for blocking nerve pain

After having repeated exacerbations, my consultant has discovered from sputem sampleas that I am suffering from "entrerobacter" and "pseudomonas". She has prescribed Ciproflaxin for the latter and in the meantime is arranging for me to have nebulised Gentamycin, the other drug Tazocin can only be administered

Head noise
How do any of you who suffer with the head noise part of tinnitus ignore it? Unless I’m in a cinema/restaurant I can hear it, droning away in the background. Also, has anyone hawked to be re-refered back to ENT? My consultant was pretty sh*t (got the piece of dry skin of my ear drum and thrusted a leaflet
