Tinnitus for over 30 years
I have had tinnitus for over 30 years and have struggled for a long time with it and for the most part have coped with it. However at the beginning of December 2020 I picked up a virus and my tinnitus became rampant far louder than I have ever had. Add that to frequent giddiness and pounding headaches

Hello My name is Ian and I'm 52. Just joined today looking for some support and hope. My tinnitus started 2 montgs ago, I think as a result of hearing loss due to hammering without ear defenders, although it was a couple of months afterwards that the tinnitus started. I also still have ear discomfort

Link between migraines and hearing loss
Hi all. I have had tinnitus in my left ear constantly for around 2 years now, I have recently been prescribed a hearing aid for the same ear due to deteriorating hearing . I am interested to know if anyone has suffered migraines down the opposite side as a result of tinnitus/hearing loss as I have experienced

Hearing aids.
Hi I got my hearing aids 5 days ago, what a relief. 30 years with severe tinnitus. No cure still have zopiclone or beer at night, but during the day completely forget about it. Bluetooth hearing aids with an app, 75 pcent damage at high frequency but they kind of fill in the gap. Couldn't be happier.

Has anyone with ET suffered sudden complete hearing loss in one ear?
This has happened to me after having my ear looked at querying wax. Told ear was clear and immediately after leaving audiologist my hearing had gone completely. I have since seen GP who said their WAS wax and prescribed drops of sodium bicarbonate for a week, after which an attempt was made to wash out

Lightheadedness
I've been experiencing some bouts of lightheadedness over the past month. Usually, the dizziness is only a few seconds but can be several times a day or I can go several days without any episodes. Sometimes it happens with movement but many times not. It is not the dizziness one might get when standing

53 and new to Tinnitus...
Hi all So, end of February 2021 I started to hear brief periods of ringing in my ears for about a week. A bit odd I thought...and then stories of long Covid causing tinnitus happened to appear on the news almost that same week...so I went for a Covid Ab test - which was negative. So by mid-March my

Endo vertigo
Does anyone have experienced vertigo or severe dizziness as a symptom of endometriosis? I had it once before and it almost lasted a week and feels like it’s starting again now.

Help for Tinnitus and Vertigo/Dizziness
First of all there is no "fix" for these conditions by doctors as there is nothing for them to fix. These noises and feeling are in your body and head and only you can hear or feel the symptoms. If you want help, get the book Rock Steady by Joey Remenyi or check out her website Seeking Balance International

Advice gratefully accepted!
Hi I've had tinnitus for 30 odd years over the last few years my right ear and to a lesser extent my left ear feel blocked and the tinnitus is going for gold! My GP says there is no wax of note and took a swab but apparently this was lost! So no diagnosis. I went back and was told to get a hearing aid
