9 weeks in - doing OK but looking for some positive vibes!
Hi everyone. I've had Tinnitus for 9 weeks - confirmed by ENT - no point talking about the cause as I'm working hard on acceptance. I'm 37 and feel a bit sad about the diagnosis; the hissing sound is moderately intrusive but the effect on my body through what I believe to be stress is quite frustrating

Verapamil SR 120 mg side effects, one a day
I took my first of dose Half Securon SR 120 mg mid morning and this afternoon I am dizzy and lacking energy. I am struggling to stand up. I realise I have a adjust, but I wasn't expecting a total wipeout. Can I take this pill and at night and reduce the initial effect of the tablets in my waking hours

VERTIGO CAUSED BY ACOUSTIC NEUROMA
Hi, I have had an unchanged acoustic neuroma since 2017. In the new year I started having vertigo attacks which were lasting anything up to a couple of minutes. ENT referral
Hi, After a private hearing test I was told to give results to GP as left ear is noticeably worse than my right. I've had slightly worse hearing in my left ear for years maybe even 7 or 8 but it wasn't bad, just noticeably not as good so never really paid it any attention, I do very occasionally have

Bewildered
Hello to all, I’m new to this. I have a question for anyone who may have similar things going on as I’m bewildered about my diagnosis. I was diagnosed with cerebella ataxia in December 2021. I spent quite a few weeks in hospital having scans and eeg etc. loads of tests and neurologist then I was told

Can a vacuum cleaner cause hearing loss.

Not coping
I had surgery in 1997 for removal of an acoustic neuroma. This left me with one sided hearing and tinnitus. The tinnitus was always manageable and didn't interfere with my life. 3 years ago out of the blue it started in both ears and the volume was unbearable and still is. I cant sleep and cant

One sided tinnitus
I’d appreciate hearing from anyone with a similar situation. Came on about 8 months ago. No apparent cause. Only on one side (left). No hearing loss. Continuous, doesn’t vary. High pitched buzz/tone. MRI clear. It gets worse when I open my mouth or move my jaw to one side. Had an assessment for TMJD

Maskers/Sound Therapy
Hi everyone not posted for awhile. I have had T for around 18 months. In that time I have habituated and then relapsed a few times. The T at the moment seems much louder and sometimes it’s pitch almost feels painful. I have done some CBT and learnt a few relaxation techniques which helps to some extent
