Flecainide for VT
Hi, Is anyone taking Flecainide for VT ? I have been suffering with PVCs for the last 3 years. I’m currently taking 10mg of Nebivolol which don’t seem to be working. I have previously taken Varapamil and Bisoprolol which didn’t work either. My EP has suggested trialing Flecainide first before going down

Anion gap redux, potassium?
Recently i saw on here a discussion of low anion gap. I tried searching on HU but only found posts by people talking about other diseases, so clearly not the post and discussion I recall. Can anyone direct me to that discussion? If not, can anyone summarize the significance of low anion gap? Just

Seen ENT specialist
Hi all, thought I'd give you a further update as I saw an ENT specialist yesterday. Please note that I live in Spain. Firstly, I was very impressed. He said there are 30 medical conditions which can cause T! He was very thorough and gave me alot if confidence in what he has proposed moving forwards

Update - MRI Scan Results
Good Morning Everyone, For those of you who asked me to let you know when I got the results from my MRI Scan...well, I received a letter on Saturday! The good news is that I am classed as being 'normal' and there is nothing untoward happening, but the not so good news is that I have now been discharged

Switched Beta blockers ...felt worse.
Been on Bisoprolol...not good so switched to nebivolol same dose 1.25. Only taken one tablet last Eve and couldn't sleep and today light headed anxious and jittery. When I tried a quick nap this afternoon I kept jerking awake. Back on bisoprolol and hoping I haven't messed up my system. Maybe better

Schwannoma recurrence
I had a craniotomy for a large(4.5 cm) scwannoma 6 months ago, which I'm still working to recover from. My recent MRI from March 1 showed a much smaller growth which is suspect for a recurrent and I'll be having Gamma Knife surgery to deal with the new growth in 4-6 weeks. I'm just wondering how many

Hearing Aids!
Hi everyone, I am just sat here wondering if I may need a Hearing Aid to help with my T. When I was first diagnosed with T I went to see an Audiologist at Specsavers, who told me my hearing was OK for 'someone of my age'. Fair enough I thought haha! I then decided to get a second opinion, so I went

9 weeks in - doing OK but looking for some positive vibes!
Hi everyone. I've had Tinnitus for 9 weeks - confirmed by ENT - no point talking about the cause as I'm working hard on acceptance. I'm 37 and feel a bit sad about the diagnosis; the hissing sound is moderately intrusive but the effect on my body through what I believe to be stress is quite frustrating
