Salazopyrin
Hi all! I have RA and was diagnosed in 2005. I have been taking salazopyrin for the last 6months and Iโm feeling fairly good on it. ๐๐๐. Does anyone know if I need to stop taking it when taking an antibiotic.

CO-PROXAMOL / DEXTROPROPOXYPHENE BASED PRODUCTS ARE BACK IN PRODUCTION!
I feel that I have been able to prove beyond any doubt that MHRAโs advice to government to ban Co-proxamol was in order to increase their income and NOT FOR DRUG SAFETY CONCERNS OR EFFICACY! Dextropropoxyphene based products are back in production in India and on the market at a very completive price

Ulcerative colitis help
I have just been diagnosed with ulcerative colitis after months of feeling sick bleeding from behind and awful stomach problems. I have been reading this can be auto immune related. Has anyone else got this and how do you treat it. My GP just prescribed steroid creams but it's making it worse. Feeling

Day 28!!!! I want to be honest as I don't want to be fooling anyone, most of all myself. Day 16 at a friends BBQ I had about 6 puffs on a vape that had nicotine in (although unsure of the mg) & then on day 19 I had girlfriends over for dinner & one of them smoked, after running around all day & then

Something strange is going on
Just completed week 5 run 1. I know this is likely to be a tough week and having been kicked off the couch by my other half I set off for the first run at snail's pace. (Grandma snail with zimmer frame). I'm snailing along, looking around at the local park at dusk and suddenly realise... I'm smiling!

feeling weak
Hello! I am presently taking 88mg of Levothyroid. I also take estrogen twice weakly. Does estrogen interfere with thyroid medication? Any one know.

OK, I have two days to go before I go to see the docs about giving up smoking - again! This is so I can decide how I want to do this, ideally I want to try Varenicline (Chantix) but not sure if I can ask for that or just take what they suggest, but I will see. Whatever happens I am determined to quite

Young, scared, confused.
Hello, I am not sure if I have joined the correct forum and if anyone can offer me some comfort and reassurance. So I have a low reading of MCHC AND MCH from majority of my blood tests. Now I've had many blood tests in the pass and no doctor has ever bought this up before until just a few years ago

6 days tobacco free but vaping.
Hi new to this site. I was a heavy smoker for 20 years and decided 6 nights ago to smoke my last cig. I lasted cold turkey for almost 15 hours than gave in to my e cig better choice than a real cig. I want to use the ecig only as an aid and be completly nicotine free sooner than later. My biggest problem

Heavy spotting on zoladex plus double tibilone
I am over a month and a half into a tibilone trial. After the first month I doubled my dose of tibilone due to extreme brain fog. I started to spot lightly but it's gotten heavier and I am now experiencing quite heavy dark spotting daily. Anyone experienced this?? Is this typical of zoladex with normal

MORE Updated DNA REPORTS
What can a lay person like myself interpret FROM jigsaw that is my DNA. There for I'am ... Doing my research i have found WHEN DNA error occurs you body try's to fix one error but that one fix leads to more. But how and why CONNECTED as eluded me. Take one of my inherited conditions or DNA mutations

Still in the big wide world
For the second time I did a basic week 1 session outdoors today - I'm working on my brain training as running outside rather than on the treadmill has been a real psychological problem for me. Today there was no dog Oscar with me, he's now gone back home to the grandchildren. I did the week 1 session

Does hormones cause ulcerative colitis flares?
I'm curious as to whether anyone has suffered with colitis flares when they have altered either their thyroid meds or contraceptives? I'm still flaring since last August and the changes I made back then was an increase in thyroid meds slightly from 75/100mg to 100mg and the Merina coil fitted to control

Ulcerative Colitis
Due to rectal bleeding my GP sent me for a colonoscopy which I had today. It turns out I have UC and I never knew. Apparently I'm currently having a flare up hence the bleeding.

Apixaban and stomach
Can any apixaban takers tell me if you find you need to take apixaban with some food, or if it's gentle enough on your stomach to have with just water? (I know the guidelines say don't need food but is that your experience?) With taking twice a day, I don't really want to have to eat early & late.
