Quitting T3
I basically feel ok but do have
osteopenia
. Hard to know when that developed. Didn’t scan for 10 years. Again, no problems and work out often. MY internist and another doctor warned me about Tsh and T3, and implored me to stop. But feeling good, had no desire to and afraid to. .

Spine Issues
Severe
osteopenia
and minimal atherosclerosis Might this mean my spine is kind of collapsing? I'm just wondering about returning to work this afternoon.

AA or not?
I recently had a dexa scan and the results show I now have osteoporosis, after having
osteopenia
for some years. I have had pmrgca for five years and been taking predisolone reducing down now to 4mg pd.

Weight-bearing exercise
Have
osteopenia
and have been trying to prevent osteoporosis. My weight-bearing exercise had been using the elliptical trainer at the YMCA. I do not want to go back there now because of COVID-19. I have joint problems and plantar fasciitis, so I have been doing some seated exercises.

Xgeva vs Estrogen Patch against bone loss?
my husband will begin ADT, probably Firmagon. since he has already some micro bone mets and to some degree
osteopenia
, bone loss while on ADT is an even more serious issue. What are the differences in this regard between Xgeva and E2 add-back in men undergoing non-estrogen ADT?

Osteoporosis and Epilepsy Medications
I have posted before regarding my diagnosis earlier this year of osteoporosis in my spine (-2.6) and
osteopenia
in the other bits. I have listened to the GPs and their advice to take Alendronic Acid and have done my own research into the possible side-effects.

Running and osteopenia
Hi, Is Couch to 5K truly safe for over 70 with
osteopenia
? Felt great after first run, second run due today but my back is a bit sore. This might be normal for everyone but I want to make things better not worse. Has anyone else been in this position and taken advice?

any suggestion for a choice of bone building drug to take?
I was
osteopenia
by age 45 (maybe earlier?) but improved my BMD a lot by Oestrogel and natural progesterone suppositories. (from around Z=-2.5 to around z=-1.5. )....but that was before menopause too.

DEXA dilemma
Have been on pred since Nov 17 & DEXA in May 2018 showed I had some
osteopenia
and mild osteoporosis, but I wasn’t on any vit D or calcium and I’d had a hysterectomy induced early menopause and only very short period of HRT.

Long story short, I was diagnosed with SLE at 13yrs old I have rheumatoid arthritis, Fibromyalgia,
osteopenia

My story - so far
In preparation for an appointment which I had today , I did a contrast CT about 10 days ago.No distant mets , no enlarged lymph nodes, signs of radiation on the prostate, signs of
Osteopenia
caused by ADT treatment.
