RRP Oct2016, slowly rising uPSA over past year in addition to several other issues including hypogonadism, intermittent TRT, osteopenia, etc
In the meanwhile, will continue to address the LOH (low fT, high FSH and LH,
osteopenia
) butt, rectal and posterior thigh symptoms.

Exercise in lock down
I have been jogging daily away from other people to prevent going backwards as I've just moved out of osteoporosis into
osteopenia
range and not taking any medicines now. All exercise classes closed, the house is full with all working from home.

Hi all, Just had my Dexa scan for my coeliac review and it's showing
osteopenia
. There was no sign of this whatsoever when I was diagnosed 4 years ago. My GP wanted to reduce my levo to 75mg as she believes my almost non existent TSH is a problem.

Dexa Update
Prior to going on prednisone in October 2019, I had
osteopenia
and I just had another dexa done (about a year since my last one) and I am still in the
osteopenia
range although my numbers weren't quite as good for the spine and the hip neck but still in the
osteopenia
range so for that I am thankful.

T-11 fracture! No wonder it hurts!
The rest of Xray report suggests
osteopenia
but not osteoporosis. I will find out more tomorrow. My kidney function is fine. Hard not to be miffed that immediate care doc didn’t take XRays to rule out fracture a week ago or 5 days ago. Year ago today dx’d with PMR.

Adcal D3
Hello I was prescribed Adcal D3 750 Mg caplets three years ago after a Dexa scan result showed
osteopenia
. The GP label directions on the box were for one caplet twice a day.

On the “horns of a dilemma” re Alendronic Acid 😳
My bone scan has shown that I have
osteopenia
, lumbar spine t score -1.2,femoral neck t score -1.8. Dr wanted me to go on Alendronic acid but I declined as I have a hiatus hernia (20 mg Omeprazole per day) and even with this I was getting reflux at 17.5 Pred.

Has anyone had a tooth implant while on prednisone for PMR?
I have
osteopenia
and have fractures. I would love to hear from anyone that has gone thru this or any other surgery and how you healed. Except for the PMR I tend to be in pretty good health.

Pain in my feet! Tapering? Osteopenia?
I've been tapering prednisone. Down to 16-now, and have new sharp pain in the top of one foot. The pain radiates through the toes and worsens with weight bearing throughout the day. I have had no injury to my foot. Any idea? I've read that 40 percent of gca patients experience pain in hands or feet.

Vit D Levels
I recently had to have some blood tests for an unrelated condition and was surprised to see that my serum Vit D results were 67 nmol/L, within the range 'adequate for most people' (50-75) Is this adequate for a 75 year old Hypo ( who also has
Osteopenia
)?

Advice please?
My scores were: Femur neck: T score -1.1, Z score -0.1 Spine: T score -2.5 Z score -1.4 Looking at the charts, my interpretation is that my hip is just in the
osteopenia
range and my spine just in the osteoporosis range.

Complacency Upended
His reaction was “Maybe it’s the

. I have an appointment with the MO in mid-March.” I think we have both been complacent as his experience thus far has been so uncomplicated. He has read absolutely nothing about PCa.
