Hi everyone, I hope you are all doing ok and surviving these strange times. I have a questions that I hope someone who has done a lot more research than I have can answer. I take magnesium, calcium, boron, vit k and vit d for my osteopenia. I know a lot of you guys take this kind of combo. Please could you let me know I should take first in the day and which later, and which with what other one - and which separate! Thanks so much :) Also anyone take turmeric? If so how!

I’m probably doing it wrong (my default 😀) but I take d3 and magnesium in the morning or at lunch and k2 at lunch or dinner and boron at night. D3 and k2 need to be taken with fats so if I don’t have breakfast then everything gets moved on by one meal.

I don’t supplement calcium as I get it all through my diet.

I take turmeric powder (a good shake, at least a couple of grams) daily with a few grinds of black pepper (apparently the piperine in BP aids the turmeric absorption) and a pinch of ground cumin in a glass of home made kefir.

There are different points of view on some of this, but there's general agreement that you need to take Vit D and K2 with a meal that contains fat. Some people say to take at the same time, so say to take at different meals so there's enough fat for each of them. I take Vit D, boron, magnesium, and Vit C at breakfast time, then more boron and K2 with my evening meal. I don't take calcium as for most people it's recommended to get it from diet and only supplement to make up any shortfall.

I take K2 in a daily oral spray, and alternate between vit D3 in tablet and oral spray form. I presume oral sprays don't need to be taken with a meal as they bypass the digestive system, although I have read on the forum that some people take them with a meal.

Magnesium helps you sleep so I take that at bedtime - it works! Otherwise, the same as you but I get my boron from prunes.
