Calcium products and calcification of coronary artery,
I had been on Calcichew daily for over 10 years prior to the stent for
osteopenia
and am now reluctent to take it. Asked a few GOs and some told me to ask a cardiologist so it appears they are not sure. Anyone any thoughts on this please as I rarely take this now.

Omeprazole
I have been encouraged to take AA due to
osteopenia
but, again, not entirely sure if I need it. Any information appreciated. Thank you.

CATCH UP & DEXA SCAN
I had a DEXA scan early November and I have
Osteopenia
. I have been prescribed Adcal D3 which I am struggling to take ( chewable 2 tabs everyday ) they make me burp and feel queasy, but I must take to help my bones. On the bright side I am taking 5mg of Pred now and not doing too bad !

Diagnosed with osteoporosis.
That was back in my mid thirties when I had
osteopenia
. I want to avoid the side effects of medications and use food as medicine. I was told as a last resort natural estrogen patches may be helpful.

Medication for Osteopenia with Parkinson’s
My husband has PD and has been told (through his dexi scan ) that
Osteopenia
is present and he needs to stay on something. Fosamax is out of the question due to its affect on the bones.

Let's try to get some more money for PCa research.
These treatments often result in side effects like incontinence, ED, retrograde ejaculation, gynecomastia (breasts), sarcopenia, and
osteopenia
. Contrary to what the medical industry may advertise, these side effects are common. They ruin lives and marriages.

Osteopenia with steroid use?
Hi, just got the results back from my bone scan as I’ve been on prednisone for 3/4 years now and it shows
osteopenia
/bone thinning. I’m starting treatment with calcium, vit d and some sort of acid - just getting prescription later today.

>1.0 DIFFERENCE BETWEEN T-SCORES HIP & SPINE ON DEXA?
I'm coming across a lot of people are told that their DEXAs shows (for example) osteoporosis in the spine but
osteopenia
in the hip and they're been told they need to take medication to treat the osteoporosis. OP is a systemic condition.

Vitamin K
(I have
osteopenia
and need to strengthen my bones). And is it safe as I heard vit K is used for clotting problems or for reversing the blood thinning effects of warfarin. I would be so grateful for the advice of a doctor who understands all the ins and outs of ITP.

Vibration therapy for building bone density
I have
osteopenia
which is close to osteoporosis in my spine (L4 vertebrae is -2.3) so keen to try exercise etc to stop any further deterioration. No medication as AA did NOT agree with me. I've been reading that vibration therapy is helpful in building bone density.

AA, COVID BOOSTER & PRED TIMING
My Dexa results was a diagnosis of
Osteopenia
with Lumber spine Tscore -2.0, Femeral neck Tscore -2.4. Given the quite strict guidance in taking these I am a bit wary of adding more tablets for my stomach to digest. What would you advise?

Could anaemia and

be related to long term PPI use? Where on earth does diverticulosis and diarrhoea fit in, if at all? Regards Paul

Seronegative Rheumatoid Arthritis
So don’t know what will happen on Friday, ideally would like to stay on low dose of Prednisolone but have been told this is not possible as I have
Osteopenia
. Any natural remedies or advice would be a great help as at times I feel so out of my depth with all of this.
