Dexa scan results

Hi all,eventually had my dexa scan results back today and they showed I have Osteopenia (not sure if that is spelt right). It feels like one thing after another.

You can keep going back if your eyes get tired.

I was going to point you to FAQs too. Osteopenia is a term ( according to PMRPro) largely invented by the companies that make Alendronic Acid and similar. It means that you are borderline for Osteoporosis. This situation can be reversed with good diet and exercise as outlined in Heron’s post, now in FAQs. Chin up!

Not even borderline for osteoporosis - depending where you are on the scale it can be be borderline for normal!! It is a broad church and it all depends what your t-score is.
