Please could someone give advice on blood results
Dear all, I hope you are well. Can anyone give advice on my blood results below. One is from Feb and the other end of May. Been in 50mcg of Teva levothyroxine since January. Private doctor has advised to go up to 75mcg last week. Since then I feel worse. Hot, headaches, insomnia, extremely hoarse voice

Supplements for endometriosis, detoxification and immune health
Hi ladies, I thought I’d post as I’ve been experiencing some positive change lately and wanted to share what I’ve been doing in the hope that it could bring relief to more people. I’ve read lots on supplements and alternative medicine and from reading about Ayurveda I kind of came across very good supplements

Should I switch from Levothyroxine to NDT?
Hi. I have hypothyroidism (Hashimoto's) and have been taking Levothyroxine for one year and 3 months. My dose is 50 mcg for 5 days per week and 75 mcg twice a week. I seem to be very sensitive to Levothyroxine. I lose a lot - and I mean A LOT - of hair when I am taking even 25 mcg a week more than

ANY THOUGHTS ABOUT THIS BRAND OF VITAMIN D3
I came across this brand of vitamin D3 and would be interested to know if anyone has tried it or just what anyone thinks of it. https://www.nutravita.co.uk/products/vitamin-d3-drops-25-g-1000iu-per-drop-2000-d3-drops-per-bottle I usually take little vegi-caps, but wonder whether they are being absorbed

Vitamin dosage and when to take it.
Hello everyone, I have my vitamin D result 31.4 (50.0). The Doc has prescribed D3 Colecalciferol 800IU capsules. Do you think that this is enough and when should I take it? Thank for your help. Great forum, so informative.

More advice please
Can I ask if anybody S taking Adcal D3 along with Pred? My GP has asked me to consider taking it. It's a calcium carbonate and vitamin D3 chewable obtained under prescription. However it does come with side effects. I am already taking Vitamin d tablets along with calcium from the local health shop daily

VITAMINS
Hi, and thanks to everyone who responded to my recent post re my Test Results. I'm trying to order the necessary vitamins and wondered if you could spare a minute to check whether I'm heading in the right direction. Obviously these have been recommendations - but still confusing to us newbies

Help on clarification, please.
Very pleased to have found this site and also read Kate Gilbert’s excellent book in record time. But I’m confused! Many people with PMR say that they are ‘struggling’ or finding things difficult. What do you mean? Is it about pain or is it about side effects of medication? My situation: I have been

Teva Liothyronine ingredients and side effects
I wondered have people noticed that the Teva T3 has the same side effects as their T4? I was recently given Teva t3 tablets by the pharmacy and have been having tummy problems for a while now and it seems to be getting worse. I’m trying to work out why. I’d read that the T3 didn’t have the same issues

Palpitations after Metavive 1
Morning, I had a hemithyroidectomy in November last year and in late December I started taking Metvive 1. I started with 1 tablet a day and, after 6 weeks and blood tests, went up to 2 tablets. I take 1 before breakfast and 1 before bed, that was about 8-10 weeks ago. Up till a few days ago I’ve felt

Vitamin D deficiency
Hi all, I hope you are all staying safe and keeping well. I recently went to the Falls and Syncope clinic and part of the process was blood tests. Apparently I am deficient in vitamin D which is no great surprise. I have to avoid the sun as much as possible as I have a skin condition shortened to DSAP
