Hi, and thanks to everyone who responded to my recent post re my Test Results.
I'm trying to order the necessary vitamins and wondered if you could spare a minute to check whether I'm heading in the right direction. Obviously these have been recommendations - but still confusing to us newbies!!
Vitamin D3 - Doctor's Best Vit D3, 2000iu - will take 2 per day.
Vitamin K2-MK7 - Vitabay Organics Vit K2-MK7.
Magnesium - Doctor's Best High Absorption Magnesium 100mg. I'm assuming I need Glycinate and not Citrate - I can usually manage my constipation!
B12 - Igennus Super B Complex. Will this cover the Folate or do I need separate Folate?
Selenium - I intend to order from Nature's Best as have a few things from there to order for hubby.
Thanks.

Personally, I wouldn't use that. The reason being that it contains both L-Selenomethionine and Sodium Selenite forms. The L-Selenomethionine is fine, but Selenite is not something I'd consider. I would go for an all Selenomethionine form or a yeast bound selenium. You may be interested in this article:

I would go for the 5,000iu D3, this will be cheapest way to buy it. If you only want 4,000iu daily then take it 6 days a week (30,000iu) as opposed to 4,000iu daily (28,000iu).

There is 200mcg in 1 x tablet, their suggested dose is 2 x tablet
However, before you take a B Complex you have to rule out B12 deficiency. I know you said that your GP said that your tests were fine, but what tests were those? And did you check for signs of B12 deficiency from the link I gave you in reply to your previous post? Do you have any? It's not test results that are important with B12 tests, it's symptoms and this is what doctors should go by.
Thanks for replying and I'll take onboard all you suggested.
Yes I did check the B12 signs in your link and I have quite a few. The GP tested B12/Folate Level on 10/1/20. The results were "Serum vitamin B12 level 397ng/L (190.0-910.0). Serum folate level 3.6ng/mL (3.3-99999.0)". She marked them "satisfactory". I then saw the Nurse Practitioner, when making the appointment I stated that I wanted to discuss my blood test results as I was still suffering, apparently this did not warrant a GP appointment! I queried B12 and Pernicious Anaemia to be told "NO, the results are fine". I then wrote to my named GP, also mentioning this, again to be told results are fine.
I would pop over to the Pernicious Anaemia Society forum here on HealthUnlocked to discuss your B12 they may be able to offer further guidance. Post your list of symptoms, your results and all relevant information:
