Lyrica, RLS and tinnitus
Hello all, I have RLS and tinnitus, and I’m wondering if anyone else shares these two diagnoses with me. I thought I had a great solution in Lyrica and felt great for about two weeks. I slept multiple days in a row for the first time in 20 years. But the Lyrica caused an increased pressure in my head

Researchers identify new 'universal' target for antiviral treatment.
As the coronavirus outbreak shows, viruses are a constant threat to humanity. Vaccines are regularly developed and deployed against specific viruses, but that process takes a lot of time, doesn't help everyone who needs protection, and still leaves people exposed to new outbreaks and new viruses. Statins - More Good News
It is already well known that statins have many benefits. These include the lowering of cholesterol (particularly LDL), stabilisation of existing plaque and reduction of irritation (often a precursor to plaque formation). Today I restarted the course of dental treatment that was put on hold following

Hi folks, I know that Kratom works for some for RLS . What is the recommended dosage? I brought some home from a vacation but have not tried it since, as I am presently on low dose Opioids which I’d love to get off or at least reduce . I am constantly trying to reduce the dose but I keep spinning my

Looking for advice
I am brand new to this so please be patient I have RLS for about 2 years and it seems to be getting worse every week. It’s so bad now that I’m lucky if I get 1 hour of sleep a day and mentally it’s getting tough as well as physically! I like my doctor, but she doesn’t seem to know how to treat this.

RANDOM THOUGHTS , QUESTIONS, AND A MOAN OR TWO ABOUT DOCTORS AND UNECESSARY UNKINDNESS
Somedays I feel like I am juggling all my problems and health issues. The balls are all in the air as I am running on a treadmill . What happens if I drop them? I should drop them. My gp told me RLS is to small a condition to use the power of opioids on. Thank goodness I have a neurologist who isn't

You might have already seen this. Seems very dangerous if mixed with opioids. https://newyork.cbslocal.com/2019/12/21/fda-nerve-pain-drugs-breathing/?fbclid=IwAR3QsajSv-7Rff09KGwm8QKAZyDCpyKfy4EIFSA3O-tvbOk0rnsL0M5MBng#.XhkvhAP9v1g.facebook December 21, 2019 at 7:21 pm. The FDA released the warning

Sotalol side effects
I've had both SVT and AF ablation's. The SVT was from just after I had my first child and was severe. The ablation for that took and I was put on Verapemil (sp?) I had no further SVT and all was well. Then after 30 years I began 11 years of hell that brought me here: total gastrectomy; followed 3 years

What medicine are you taking for chron’s pain ?
I’m allergic to NSAIDS. Only Opioids as narcotics works well manage my chron’s pain. I’m having troubles with insurance between providers... with United health then changed to Kaiser Permante that I dealt with their morbid health care then changed again with Blue Cross and Blue Shield Anthem with employer

I THINK I NEED SUPPORT
I thought when I finally found a doctor who would prescribe opioids for me so I could withdraw from ropinirole that things would be better. In some ways they are... I was sleeping some , more than I have in a year. I got a c-pap which is a positive . I still haven't found the right opioid. Tomorrow

Dental Work
Hi there, it may appear a silly or basic question so forgive me for asking. I need some dental treatment e.g. tooth extraction, filling and crown probably. Do I need to be cautious with the drugs I am given for pain relief or 'numbing' the mouth etc. I currently take Levothyroxine only. Thanks

RLS and methadone tolerance
My doctor prescribed me 5mg methadone. It worked perfectly for 6 months. No side effects, no high, no RLS! Then, RLS started coming back. My doctor said I was on half the dose most of his patients were on so he authorized me to take 7.5 to 10mg. I'm currently on 10mg. I am really scared that I'm going

Diaphragm endometriosis
Hi ladies, long post alert: I'm waiting for a lap to diagnose endometriosis for pelvic pain, but for about 6 months I've had pain in my upper-right abdomen and back around my right rib area, it also stabs up into shoulder and when it's bad it hurts to breathe in and out and can cause a tingly feeling

It's been 2 weeks since my Subcapsular orchiectomy, some minor issues, after surgery my bladder wouldn't work and needed catheter overnight, everything was fine next morning and I went home with some 'Flomax' to shrink my Prostrate down. This week the stitches came out and the wound opened up and became

Fibromyalgia and Dentistry
I was wrongly diagnosed with fibromyalgia circa May 2015 and it's easy to see why. I ticked every box. However I was unhappy with the diagnosis from the outset and so I made a nuisance of myself and only this last month have found the last piece of the jigsaw. What is really wrong with me is OA and that
