Kardia ECG Monitor
Thanks to the person who recommended this, but I just need to let you all know that, after struggling for some time to make it work, I found it was not compatible with my Samsung phone, so I have had to send it back. So I would advise that anyone thinking of buying one should check compatibility first

Reaction to ecg lead stickers from CPET yesterday
Yesterday I had a CPET , in preparation for having the heart monitor leads attached they used a very coarse wipe to clean the areas where the stickers go to enable the best connection , it was like having sandpaper rubbed on my skin . Anyway my skin felt a bit sore where I had the stickers placed and

Update from my CPET yesterday , two really nice guys did my test , when they did the breathing tests before going on the treadmill they told me my airways were narrower, when I was attached to the heart monitor they were watching the ecg in silence for a few minutes which made me wonder if there was

Frustrated and Scared
Since my diagnosis in 2019 I have been taking medication for this condition, but every year in May my heart has gone into arrhythmia in May, each time my dose of Bisoprolol has been increased from 1.25mg in 2019 to 5mg currently. This year however the symptoms are only partially under control. My

Early pregnancy progesterone levels?
I’m 5 weeks pregnant following 4th FET. History of recurrent miscarriages so naturally worrying. HCG seems to be doubling as it should. Progesterone on transfer day was 83 Now it’s only increased to 104 even though I’m on 3 pessaries and one injection Should it be higher?

diagnosed with myocarditis 7 weeks ago
Hi all and thank you in advance for reading. I am a healthy 34 year old woman and was admitted to hospital 7 weeks ago with severe chest, jaw, back and arm pain. Very scary! My troponin levels were 208 so they kept me in for 3 days. All other tests - ECG, echo and CT all clear. I refused an MRI due

Random Tachycardia
Hi Hearties! I had 4 MIs in 2018 at the age of 38. My LAD was stented (99% blockage), I was given a boatload of meds, and sent on my way. In the years that followed, I have had countless trips back to the A&E, with the primary symptom being tachycardia, dizziness/light-headedness, and occasionally chest

Looking for a Surgeon with Specific Skills
This is a long shot. I’m an Aussie. I had HD brachytherapy for prostate cancer in 2010. In 2016, I was diagnosed with Carcinoma in Situ in the bladder. I’ve had multiple rounds of BCG, and I’m now heading towards a radical cystectomy. My urologist is nervous about the risk of damage to the rectum

19 struggling with ectopics
Hi all, I just wanted to come on here for a bit of advice or just to share what I’ve been struggling with recently, I’ve struggled with ectopic beats for over a year now, and they have been manageable as they have predominantly been quite spread out or predictable, and the only bad episodes happening

Tachycardia
Rather a long post I’m afraid. In 2000 I was 44 and developed unstable angina over 4 months. My husband had BUPA with his work so I saw a cardiologist quickly, put on aspirin, Bisoprolol and GTN. The cardiologist was always unsure whether it was a blockage to my LAD or a spasm and I was due to undergo

Interesting dilemma
Hi everyone I have had paroxysmal AF on and off for about 10 years with occasional flare-ups. Since being on the dreaded 2.5 mg Bisoprolol no flare-ups at all ( did get some on 1.35 mg ). However been in hospital for a couple of hand operations and my ecg always looks like AF never bothered the hospital

Experiencing higher sleeping HRV after stopping Flecainide
I had a cryoboalloon ablation the end of January and was kept on 2x 50mg Flecainide during the blanking period. I had no AF during the blanking period and wore a Zio patch for 7 days just before the 3 months was over. At the appointment the APRN said my Zio came back clean, with no AF, very few ectopic
