Chest pain after car accident
Hi all, Had an RTA back in September. Had back, leg and chest injuries. Also had a constant chest pain in the heart area. Checked over, ECG, given the all clear. Referral to cardiologist. Just got the letter, it's for twelve months time. Still have chest pain. Thinking about 'one off ' private care

Extra heart beats - should I pursue this?
HiI have on going palpitations. They are partly what drove me to gp in 2019 when I was diagnosed. They are better than they were. I take 100/15. I have found They are less when I take my t3 all in one go. I am about to start trial of hrt. (I have a second post). The doctor sent me for an ECG. This

odd ecg finding
over in Costa Rica and didn’t feel right after strange sensation in chest yesterday. Had ecg and first time there was no current at all on the bottom line. He then tested it on someone else and it was ok. Then redid it on me but referred to the electrical circuit as ‘low voltage’. I am coming back tomorrow

BC Which Hospital Update _ and eyesl
I got a call saying I could go into local hospital for my flexy cystoscopy There is a 25 mile difference. My last rigid cystoscopy showed that 5 out of 6 biopsies was low grade, hence the flexy cystoscopy.. I have not long ago finished my 3 x BCG infusions - Have they worked, my flexy cystoscopy

flecainide question
Thank you everyone for the goodwill and empathy of this community. I’ve had two ablations (cryoablation, and RF). After a year living symptom free, AF episodes have recurred. However, following , two reversions to NSR via Flecainide and Bisoprolol as a ‘pill in the pocket’ intervention, it’s not

Palpitations
Hi all. Just had a horrible weekend , fast irregular heart rate, lasted over 1 hour . Of course it had stopped by the time I was monitored, so they didn't really have any record . Spent 2 nights in EAU wired up , lots of ecgs bloods etc. They reassured me it wasn't a heart attack . The flutters continued

Afib with rvr after vomiting
i wrote this on the Afib forum Hi, I am a fit 56 year old who had a migraine, threw up and ended up with afib with rvr and a sustained pulse of over 150 for 40 hours. Usual resting pulse is low 50s. BMI is 22. This potentially happened once before 10 years ago under the same circumstances but it righted

The continuing saga of the purple toe
Surprise, surprise, after having a MRI scan of my legs, an echocardiogram, an ECG and a twenty four hour heart monitor, no trace of blockages except what the consultant called a 'pinch' in a leg artery, suspected of causing a blood clot and the purple toe. But, on my last appointment with the consultant

Referal to cardiology after 24hr holter monitor result
At the end of Sept I had a 24hr holter monitor having experienced some intense palpitations. I was told the result should be with my gp withing 2 weeks. A couple of days ago (7weeks after having it done) I looked on my GP online records. I saw there was a letter with the ECG results there, but frustratingly

Can your HR be over 200 without you noticing?
Simply that. I bought a new Fitbit Charge 6 last week to try and eradicate the weird 'peaks' and inaccurate HR readings of my old Luxe. I've had a week of cheerful accuracy, until today. 209bpm, sitting quietly at my desk?? And 52bpm either side seems odd, it's not that low during sleep... I didn't feel
