New with skin-related question
Hi, I'm new here and was diagnosed with PBC in November last year. I'm on 1000mg ursodeoxycholic acid a day. My main symptoms have been pain in the liver area and fatigue. I've also had a strange weakness in my arms at times. More recently I have been getting itching and patches of skin becoming rough

Where is the best place to buy K2 mk 7
Hello everyone - hope you are all as well as can be expected considering we all have health issues. I see a lot of people suggest taking vitamin K2 Mk 7 to aid with calcium. I've been looking on-line at several places selling it and am getting more and more confused in the process. Can anyone please

What Omega Is Best
Hi, I have a low AMH Level and we're having ICSI IVF. I've been looking into and buying supplements that may help. Everywhere mentions Omega 3 but they don't say how much to take? And is it better to take just Omega 3 supplement or take a Omega 3, 6 and 9 Supplement? I'm getting really confused (not

Alendronic Acid - needed or not?
Hi to all you lovely, helpful people, Wonder if someone can advise me. I am currently on 10mg of Prednisolone which I take after Omeprasol every morning. My doctor has also prescribed Alendronic Acid 70mg for me as a previous DEXA scan (2 years ago and no figures given to me at the time) showed my bones

New to the group
Hi all, I had a dexa scan in April which came back with a t score of -3.9 and a diagnosis of osteoporosis of the spine. I already knew I had a compression fracture of L2 vertebrae after an x-ray. Doctor prescribed alendronic acid and vit d3 but I stopped the alendronic acid because it made my IBS worse

Diet for a vegetarian with T score of -3.5 on the spine
Hello all. I’m 61, male, and was on pred for 30 months to treat GCA and PMR, finally stopping in January this year but had to restart at 15mg in July, tapering and now down to 8 I had a DEXA in August that gave a T score of -3.5 score compared to -3.2 three years ago. It’s said said to be between

Change in taste
Ive been taking alendronic acid for 3 months now and tolerate it fairly well. However Ive found I’m finding cooked vegetables and meat unpalatable. My appetite hasn’t changed so I’m filling up on rubbish! Which isnt good. Thinking of asking my doctor to change my medication. Anyone else had this issue

Strategies to manage fatigue
Hi guys I have been diagnosed in April and been on Ursodiol since. No idea yet if the medication is working since I switched insurances and my first appointment with the hep specialist is still two months out. (What a system!) Anyway, for the most part I am doing ok but the fatigue and it’s unpredictable

Trying so hard to feel normal - overhauling the supplement plan
Hi 🙂, Just meanderings of a tired brain today. Hoping I'm not the only one on this wave-length. Some days with endo are really tough, and some are deceptively "easy" like today, where I end up asking myself why I "can't feel normal". Stage IV endo is where I'm at, waiting for Tuesday for the recommendation

Completely lost
Guys. I have hypothyroidism on a cellular level - meaning it is not primary, not secondary, but underactive/unresponsive within the cells. TSH normal, low- end of range t4 and t3. Both levothyroxine and Armour have increased my symptoms and made me very ill as they are not making it into the cells. Endocrinologists

Age 41. Third IVF cycle with ARGC. When should I call it a day?
Hi everyone, This is my first time writing here and hoping to get some advice from you all. I've had two unsuccessful IVF rounds at ARGC so far, which was devastating. The first was a frozen cycle, due to the fact that I had to get surgery to remove fibroids. This one yielded 8 eggs, 6 fertilized and

Update 3 years on
I joined this forum in 2018 whilst at a low ebb. Thank you to everyone who posted encouragement at the time. I weighed in at 134KG then, down from my top weight of 141KG. (At my recent weigh-in, I was a whisker over 110KG). After I read the replies to my post, I went to my Buddhist altar and

Some supplements that have helped me a lot. Glutathione, berberine, and alpha lipoic acid.
I've had great results with reducing numbness and brain fog by taking Glutathione, berberine, and alpha lipoic acid. It's been a nice reduction in the neuropathy since taking these supplements. They all have effects that help with what we're going through here. You'd need to read up on any sort of
