Has anyone had success with supplements to help repair dopamine damage from DAWS?

These are supplements I found from research. Not entirely sure which are most appropriate.

Some of those you mention some people have claimed as being helpful for their RLS.

For some of them, although they may be helpful for other conditions, there's no real evidence that they can help with RLS.

Some of them can help with RLS if you have a deficiency, but not if you don't e.g. vitamin D3.

Some of them you get in an adequate diet anyway, e.g. amino acids, there's no real evidence that taking "extra" is if any help.

Products with dopamine in them, e.g. dopa maxx or mucuna can theoretically help with RLS. Theoretically, they could also possibly cause augmentation.

However, RLS is one thing DAWS is another.

DAWS does not respond to dopamine and there is NO known treatment.

In which case, I imagine none of these will help. I am sorry to put it so bluntly.

I haven’t heard of anyone using supplements to help with DAWS. It would make sense to try to support your system as much as possible as it tries to repair itself but to find the right ones ?

I have tried at least the first eight supplements on your list for my rls and it’s quite possible that I took some of them in the six months+ of hell I experienced after I took the last pramipexole (which I’m pretty sure was DAWS though never got a formal diagnosis ... or indeed any support at all from my so called sleep consultant) but did not notice any appreciable improvement. I finally started to improve - very gradually - when my GP prescribed a high dose of oxycontin and I was able to get some sleep.
