Cancelled FET what next?
Hi everyone. I’m looking for a bit of advice after my latest FET was cancelled. I have a call with our consultant next week and wondering what I should be asking/ pushing for? My FET was cancelled not because of a thin lining but because it was too thick and irregular (only two lines rather than three

BRCA2 mutation and PARP inhibitor in the castration sensitive
I took a genetic germ-line test showing I have the BRCA2 mutation, thanks to advice from https://www.prostatecancer.news/2019/10/olaparib-slows-progression-in-men-with.html The link shows promising results from using PARP inhibitors, however on (metastatic) castration resistant men who have already been

Perimenapause anxiety?
I’ve been waking up at night with a racing heart. I’m 52. So my doctor prescribed me 100 mg of estrogen (estradiol 50 patch) and progesterone 100 mg at night in which she says may help me sleep. Has anyone tried hormone replacement therapy and did it help them with their anxiety at night and help

Newer Review Article on Testosterone Replacement and BAT out of China
At the risk of throwing yet more "gasoline on the fire" if this discussion topic, I think it is important for those interested to review what we know (and do not know) as of now. This is a most recent review of the topic out of China. (Not the only nor even the best review article. But a good review

Cancelled Natural FET, after failed medicated FET HELP
Bit of a ramble but feeling a bit low and confused. I did my egg collection in Jan/feb and got 26 eggs and 11 embroys all 5/6 days so I was thrilled with the result. This is when things were going well. Since then I was too over stimulated so had to do a freeze all cycle and my first FET failed. Straight

Twinges in bladder
Just had second UTI in six months and GP says it's related to lack of
oestrogen
causing bladder changes, but not sure if twinges are related, or an additional cause like bend in urethra or something. Grateful for any ideas.

Very ill since HRT and Moderna vaccine ….
Hi. Overactive for a few years then radioactive treatment causes me to go under active for the last 18 years. Menopause meant I was fitted with a more a coil 8 months ago to help symptoms and now trying HRT estradiol gel for three months so far. Huge weight gain but could also be because of poor diet

Anybody had multiple surgeries to remove endo, then total hysterectomy?
I'm trying to get some advice from any ladies who have had multiple laparoscopies to remove endometriosis and then ended up eventually having a total hysterectomy (uterus + ovaries removed). How did you decide when it was enough and then decide to have the hysterectomy? At what age did you decide on

One or two?
Just
oestrogen
and progesterone and blood thinners after transfer. 1. Just wondering if anyone had had success on this protocol? 2. How did you decide between 1 or 2 embryos? Thanks for your help. My husband and I have literally played rock paper scissors to decide.

My total test is ~1400 ng/dL naturally but my SHBG is ~130 nmol/L which brings my free test to only ~120 pg/mL (~0.8% of my total T) with albumin at 4.7 g/dL I'm supplementing boron, magnesium, vitamin D3 +K2, zinc, eating bok choy and 50% calories from carbs , 200g protein, 4250-5000 calories daily

What is the impact of estrogens and progesteron taken before FET?
Before the frozen embryo transfer I have to take estrogens and 5 days before progesteron. How is it working with the body? Has this medication some side effects?

Starting Couch to 5k issues
The medication reduces
oestrogen
. Just wondered if anyone is in the same position as me and whether it will be worth continuing, bearing in mind the side effects of the medication. Would welcome any replies!

Anastrozole
He said that my cancer was mildly receptacle to
oestrogen
so has prescribed me Anastrozole to help bring my marker down more but he said sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't and if I get any side effects to not bother getting a repeat prescription.

Scared, scared and scared. Bleed and drugs.
Yesterday I had a bleed, clinic scanned me and said was a small bruise (hematoma) and all was ok. Embryo/baby was tucked up out the way and the bruise was smaller than the pregnancy. I measured 6w3d: my scan wasn’t until next Tuesday but as they saw a healthy heartbeat they have discharged me. The bleeding

Advice please: has anyone here who has implanted a euploid embryo after PGS got a positive combined screening test for Down Syndrome?
It is not a diagnosis, it is a rough measurement of risk, which could be high because of my age anyway or possibly also because I have been taking heparin, steroids, progesterone and
oestrogen
until a few days before the test.

What else beside my quarterly PSA Test?
If I am gonna get my periodic PSA Test, I appreciate others suggestions as to what additional tests I could have added to my visit? I was thinking of things outside standard blood work tests such as Vitamin D, Testosterone, Estrogen etc? Ones that could show overall health and possible factors in watching

The Patch Trial...the verdict is in!
Transdermal administration of oestradiol (tE2) circumvents first-pass hepatic metabolism and, therefore, should avoid the cardiovascular toxicity seen with oral
oestrogen
and the
oestrogen
-depletion effects seen with luteinising hormone releasing hormone agonists (LHRHa).
