I am 5 weeks pregnant and in the last few days I feel like my heart is going to come out my mouth....even when Im resting. I also have a headache, cramps and feeling very nausceous through most of the day and Im in no form for eating (which is very unlike me as I love my food!!!!). Could any of ye lovely ladies give me some advise...could this all be to do with the pregnancy, the medications i.e. estrogen, asprin, progesterone etc. or should I be worried. TIA xx

I'd perhaps reach out to your clinic tomorrow when they open to ask/explain? I had this with my last pregnancy but I think it was down to anxiety. Could this be the case for u? Also I find progesterone side effects are quite evil for me. Good luck and congratulations xxx
Thanks for replying 😊 I guess with everything that I have been through and then the side effects of the medication I am probably overthinking everything!! Im trying to take it day by day and be positive but its so so hard 😔
Hey FET, congratulations! I get the ‘heart coming out of my mouth’ feeling every evening when I’m led on the sofa.. it’s like I can feel my heart coming out of my chest almost! Apparently very common in pregnancy.. I too have headaches, nausea and have done since around 5 weeks (and I’m now 12!) xx
Thanks so much for you reply....very reassuring 😊 & congratulations to you too ❤
Im interested to know aswell if/when you told family? I would love to tell my family next week when I will be 6 weeks as they have been through all the 'downs' of this journey with us but just so unsure
We told family at 8 weeks - I held out as long as I could! But like you, my family had been there for our journey so wanted our close family (mainly parents) and friends to know..
we still have told some family / friends and think we will tell the rest of them in a couple of weeks! Xx
Its so hard to know.... Im thinking though that they were there through the worse let them be there through the best and what will be will be... Im great at preaching positivity but not so great at it in my own head 😔 How are you feeling? Did you have a scan? X
Ha we sound so similar!! I know exactly how you feel! All ok thanks, sickness comes and goes but the tiredness is unreal! I’ve had a scan every week since 6 weeks so 7 so far! I’m consultant led and was also under the care of a recurrent miscarriage clinic so have had a lot of ‘keeping an eye on baby’ which I’m very grateful for! When’s your first scan? Xx
Hi FET2021 im the exact same, to the point where I can't sleep! I've wanted this pregnancy for so long that since finding out in Friday I've felt like someone is standing on my chest constantly I'm just so terrified of losing this thing I have a lipid infusion this morning so going to ask the nurses / consultant (if I see her) if there's anything they can do. Will keep you posted 😘
Hi again FET2021 , the nurse spoke to my fertility consultant who advised I use the Circle & Bloom meditation app. It's not cheap at 60USD but I bought it as will give anything a go at this stage. I was hoping for beta blockers but got a meditation recommendation 🤷♀️😂🤣 hope this helps 😘😘
I have left a message with my clinic aswell just to be on the safe side x think Im just looking for reassurance. Enjoy the meditation 🤗When are you scheduled in for scan? X
P.s first scan is at week 9 (rather than 8) because of school holidays (Easter holiday). What about you? 😘 Im desperate to get to 12 weeks, my acupuncturist was talking about abnormal chromosomes in embryos but I needed to hear it so I don't get too carried away 😔 I'm 5 weeks on Wednesday btw so not far behind you 😍 😍
Me too FET2021 , reassurance is exactly the word I was looking for. I was so not confident that my hcg would keep rising that they've booked me in for a "second pregnancy test" (as they call it) this Wednesday. Why am I like this?!! 🤷♀️🤦♀️ please let me know what your clinic say xx
Clinic advised me to ring GP as it might have something to do with my iron.... so have appt on Wednesday morning with my GP to do bloods etc. so fingers crossed all will be ok 🤞🤞My scan is the 14th April and it cant come fast enough 😯
