Cancelled FET what next?

Hi everyone. I’m looking for a bit of advice after my latest FET was cancelled. I have a call with our consultant next week and wondering what I should be asking/ pushing for? My FET was cancelled not because of a thin lining but because it was too thick and irregular (only two lines rather than three). I had some bleeding while taking the estrogen tablets so they decided to cancel it. Previous to my FET I’ve had two months of mid-cycle bleeding and cramps (from day 12 until about day 24) and long cycles (45 days). So I do think that something isn’t right but the nurses can’t see anything on my scans. My background is I have PCOS and x2 early miscarriages from previous IVF (last one was 7 months ago). Are there any other investigations/tests I should be asking for before we try again? My worry is that we do it again and the same happens again. My thoughts are that I am estrogen dominant and the estrogen they give me tips my levels over the edge but I don’t think I’ve ever had my levels checked. Sorry for the long message. Any advice greatly appreciated. X

Ask for a natural cycle and go with your own body’s hormones. I’d definitely ask to give that a shot xx

Is it possible to have a natural cycle with PCOS. I don’t necessarily ovulate every cycle.

Yes if the hormones are there and your lining is the right thickness x you can have that checked with blood tests x

I would ask if they could try a natural FET and monitor you to see what your body is naturally doing in the lead up? Maybe natural but with progesterone at transfer stage and beyond would be what you are needing or the can at least work out what your own body is doing from that cycle and adjust any future medicated ones going forwards? Thank you, I’ll ask the question, although I have PCOS so don’t necessarily ovulate every cycle.
