So, decided to go with HRT. Have Estrogel gel and progesterone tablets. Applying 2 pumps of gel in the morning for first two weeks and then taking two tablets and two pumps for the next two weeks. Night sweats are definitely decreasing, only waking twice at the moment after 7 days of the gel! Feeling

Getting diagnosed
I am 40 years old and have dealt with chronic pelvic pain for years. I am in the US, but I enjoy this forum and I hope it's okay to post here. I'll give you a bit of my history. In 2017, I had several uterine polyps removed. At the time, my surgeon wanted to explore for endometriosis, but I could

What works for getting a thicker endometrial lining before FET?
Hi all, I had written a few weeks ago because my endometrial thickness (after one cancelled cycle) was again refusing to go about 5mm even though I was on very high oestrogen. In the end our clinic in Greece said that we should try even with such a low endometrial thickness (morphology was good) because

Problem solved
Hi all. as you know I have been experiencing some unpleasant side effects lately. Excessive hair loss, burning scalp, extreme fatigue, painful joints, pale skin ect. First I thought it was the new batch of Levo, then I thought I may have rode my bike too far and exhausted my self, etc. Problem solved

On combined HRT for 3 weeks and odd reactions
I am at last on combined HRT to try to regulate my periods and also to help with ectopic heartbeats. I am on the estrogen patches continuously, and the 12 days of progesterone (200mg). The patches I have no real problem with, but the pills are giving me some scary side effects. I ensure I take them

Baseline scan cyst and oestrogen levels too high, IVF postponed
Hi ladies. I'm meant to be starting IVF on antagonist protocol this month, I just went in for my baseline scan today, on day 2 of my cycle, and the nurse pointed out what she thinks is a cyst on my ovary. She did a blood test and my oestrogen levels came back high and she's said we have to postpone the

Hormone imbalance
I’m new here, age 47. After a blood test I have a confirmed hormone imbalance. My progesterone to Estrogen levels are at a ratio of 38, it’s says it should be between 100-500. So I am Estrogen dominant. I have middle area weight gain, hot flashes, brain fog, insomnia, night sweats, moodiness and more

Not exactly respiratory, but still of interest to many members: Triple negative breast cancer meets its match.
One member of a larger family of oxygen sensing enzymes could offer a viable target for triple negative breast cancer (TNBC), UTSW researchers report in a new study. The findings, published online this week in Cancer Discovery, might offer hope to this subset of patients who have few effective treatment

Cyst found on baseline scan
Hi all Hope you're all doing well. Had my baseline scan today and they found a cyst measuring 15mm. They've taken bloods to see if it's oestrogen producing or not and should get the results tomorrow. Does anyone have experience with this? If it is oestrogen producing does that mean the cycle gets cancelled

Testing and Pregnenolone
Hi All Some 9 months ago I did the 4 stage saliva cortisol test and started taking pregnenolone after a problem was found. If I now check up on how the pregnenolone is doing do I have to stop taking it before doing the saliva test and if so for how long? Should I also be testing progesterone/ oestrogen
