Moved from Abi to Nubeqa and saw a PSA increase
I recently switched from Abiraterone/Prednisone to
Nubeqa
because of the high blood pressure that I had with Abi requiring additional BP meds. I was previously .058 a month ago when I switched and .109 today, almost double in a month. Any one with experience with this switch?

Chemo progress
PSA 139 @ DX1-2024 started Orgovyx and
Nubeqa
dropped PSA to 62.93. Started Chemo 1st infusion..PSA 23.3 2nd infusion..PSA 11.26 3rd infusion.. PSA 7.45 Just got my labs back for the 3rd infusion. Just feel disappointed as I was hoping for a larger drop and seemed to have stalled out.

Xofigo anyone?
So my PSA is rising after Chemo, Lupron and
NUBEQA
(Darolutamide). It rose from 0.04 in June 2023 to 0.84 at the end on April 2024 with latest time of doubling about 5 weeks, 2.3 years after diagnosis. I don't have organ on lymph node metastasis yet.

Just completed six cycles of Taxotere as part of triple therapy (chemo,
Nubeqa
and ADT) for about 20 Mets (PSMA scan) mostly skeletal (no organs). Only four Mets still lit up on PSMA scan after four cycles of chemo/Lupron/
Nubeqa
. Next PSMA scan in Jan. 2024.

VERY limited exercise… am I kidding myself
Diagnosed April ‘23, 6-month Lupron, had 4 rounds of Docetaxal, presently on
Nubeqa
. I know there are significant benefits to exercise, and I have pretty much convinced myself that I am doing the best I can for now … but it’s not much.

Can’t Locate Metastasis!
After Lupron &
NUBEQA
failed. Now on Zytiga. But PSA is still rising. Thanks for thoughts … and any similar situations!

Good news. Hope it can help others.
Did 6 rounds of docxitacel ,
Nubeqa
twice a day, Lupron once a month. Radically changed my diet and lifestyle from the moment I was diagnosed. Try to get rid of stress No sugar, no alcohol, no bread, no red meat, no processed foods whatsoever. As much organic fruits and vegetables as possible.

Taste Issues and finger neuropathy on Xtandi( enzalutamide) ?
In order to participate in a clinical trial (FOR46 at UCSF) I had to switch from
Nubeqa
(darolutamide) to enzalutamide. Previously on abiraterone. Did really well on both medications. Now 4 months on enzalutamide and my 5th research infusion, I'm experiencing some side effects.

Rising PSA
His and has been on Lupron for 6 years and recently and added
NUBEQA
about one year ago. In one year PSA has been rising. Up to 14 now. Dr. Aggarwal says no longer treat PSA # only scan results. Yet, CT with contrast is not definitive. Thoughts? Thank you!

At what point for scan ?
Zoladex and
nubeqa
are the treatments that were started before chemo . Positive for BRCA2 with blood test . We do not have an oncologist in this province and the doctor has training and gets advice from oncologist in Vancouver Prostate Centre .

And been on ADT and
Nubeqa
(daroludimide) for the last couple of years. Had chemo a year ago November. I have two spots in Lymph chest. My PSA is non detectable. I’m 62 years old. Going on 6 years since diagnosis. Originally Gleason 9 and PSA was 69 back then. Had Surgery radiation. Etc.

My husband has had 6 rounds of Taxotere and is taking
Nubeqa
and Orgovyx. Is it safe for him to take Vitamin E for hot flashes?

Anyone on Nubeqa mono therapy with prostate in place?
wondering if there is anyone on this protocol while still having their prostate in place. What are the side effects and PSA profile? Thank you.

PSA going in wrong direction
Started orgovyx three weeks ago and
nubeqa
four days ago. Visit with my MO revealed a PSA increase from .21 in August to .7 today. Seems the numbers are defying the treatment. Thoughts anyone?

What do you think?
Looks like I’m going to fail with
Nubeqa
, which I have been on for 2 1/2 months, my PSA jumped from 176 to 194 and then up to 224. Tomorrow I will see my oncologist and ask if I can go back on Xtandi and combine that with chemo or some other second line treatment.

Wait or start docetaxel?
Currently taking
Nubeqa
and Orgovyx but PSA doubling time is only 7 weeks and PSMA scan shows activity in abdominal lymph nodes, 2 vertebrae and 2 ribs.

happy holidays …. And a quick update
Hard to say whether just ADT plus
Nubeqa
would’ve given the same result, but so far I’m grateful for the triplet therapy, including the chemo and SBRT. Embark studies and results seem to confirm intensification for situations like mine.

Age and timing for Triplet therapy?
The urologist has set up the addition of the ARI Erleada in 3 weeks, though I would now prefer
Nubeqa
because it does not cross the blood-brain barrier. Nubequa would take another 2 weeks to get (or 7 weeks after start of Orgovyx).
