Nubeqa

I just received prescription for Nubeqa. However, Firmagon injection not scheduled by uroligist until 10/9. Can I take Nubeqa now before the Firmagon or SOC requires Nubeqa to be started post Firmagon injection? Thanks for your input.

I’ve investigated what the action of Nubeqa is on androgen receptors in the body, and on the prostate. Certainly I wish it was undetectable, should I be doing more? Should the Nubeqa be shutting down all PSA? Would a healthy man on Nubeqa theoretically be at zero?

The urologist started with first injection of Firmagon with Nubeqa and before the end of 28 days wants to switch from Firmagon to Lupron with Nubeqa. I was under impression that Firmagon is better at getting the job done than Lupron? Why switch?

Combined P-gp and strong CYP3A4 inhibitors increase NUBEQA exposure, which may increase the risk of NUBEQA adverse reactions. Monitor more frequently and modify NUBEQA dose as needed. Effects of NUBEQA on Other Drugs – NUBEQA inhibits breast cancer resistance protein (BCRP) transporter.

Should I take Nubeqa continuously when going to a PSMA Pylarify PET scan or break from the Nubeqa for a few weeks beforehand?When getting a PSMA PET scan, I often here advice about temporarily pausing use of whatever drugs that are effectively keeping the PSA scores down at nadir or below .1.

I'm on Orgovyx and Nubeqa, and we all know these ADT drugs reduce muscle mass and lead to muscle loss. Besides frequent resistance training, has anyone supplemented with creatine powder? Any benefit or side effects or counter-reactions?

Nubeqa 22

I have 4th stage prostate cancer and I have been doing Nubeqa and Orgovyx this year. My PSA has been slowly rising, going from a low of 3.9 in July to 7.3 in October.

Mono Xtandi was also not working with brutal side effects so we switched to Nubeqa last month with no side effects. But also ineffective.

I'm also on Orgovyx and Nubeqa. Thanks in advance.

Currently taking Nubeqa and prednisone. He would appreciate any help with this side effect. He also had blurred vision for about half an hour on day 6 and 7 following his chemo. Has anyone else experienced this?

My GFR is stable, but my oncologist decreased my Nubeqa to 300 mgm bid. I was not having side effects from the Nubeqa. Any thoughts?

I am currently on Nubeqa and Lupron with docetaxel starting next week. I was diagnosed in Germany and the doctor there wanted me to take the Nubeqa and Lupron but use an experimental immunotherapy drug and stay away from chemo for the first few months.

I have read on some posts here that there is some way to get Nubeqa without paying anything. Would anyone know what is the process for applying for that and what is it called ?

im starting on nubeqa and use crestor as my statin. It is a conflict. What do others use as a statin instead

Hi , I started Nubeqa (Darolutamide )1200 mg 2 tabs twice daily this week along with continued ADT . I’ve never had a stomach issue in my life but that’s all changed.

He’s also on prednisone and nubeqa, as well as his injection of Zoladex. Wondering if anyone else can shed light on their experience with chemo and if side effects get worse with each cycle of docetaxel?
