Nubeqa monotherapy update
It is about 6 months in to my experiment with
Nubeqa
monotherapy, and so far, so good. Latest PSA saw a slight increase from .90 to 1.0, but the thinking is that this may be the PSA range I settle into while on
Nubeqa
, and as long as it holds there, all is good.

Probiotic supplements vs. diet and fiber for adv. prostate cancer. This is a short summary of my three days of research.
Does anyone know if Darolutimide (
Nubeqa
) blocks the production of androgens from bacteria?

Anyone on Nubeqa (darolutamide) with mets?
From what I can find, it appears that darolutamide is only approved for non metastatic castrate resistant PC. My oncologist is looking at using it with Docetaxel for mcrpc. I'm in Canada. thanks.

Nubeqa mono-therapy update
So I just had my PSA checked after 3 months on
Nubeqa
(Darolutimide) mono therapy, and things seem to be trending in the right direction. When I started
Nubeqa
3 months ago, PSA was a little over 5. After 1 month PSA dropped to 1.6, then at 2 months PSA didnt move, it was stuck at 1.6.

Are all AR inhibitors the same?
Got a question about AR inhibitors, specifically darolutamide (
Nubeqa
) & enzalutamide (Xtandi). Been fighting PC for seven years; Gleason 8; radiation, then recurrence. Has metastasized to lymph nodes, but not bones. Took Abiraterone (Zytiga); didn't work.

When Is ADT Right for Biochemically Recurrent Prostate Cancer? Study suggest early initiation may not "meaningfully" improve survival
The ARAMIS trial evaluated darolutamide (
Nubeqa
) and demonstrated an MFS of 126.6 months in the study-drug arm and 102.6 months in the placebo arm, while OS was not reached.

Nubeqa monotherapy update
The first month of
Nubeqa
(darolutimide) monotherapy resulted in a PSA drop from 5.0 to 1.6 . I just had my second month blood draw and PSA is holding at 1.6 . I was hoping PSA would be even lower, but holding steady is good for now.

Tamoxifen for hormone therapy breast SEs
The question I now have is will the gynecomastia return after stopping Tamoxifen if the testosterone blocking drugs (
Nubeqa
in my case) are continued? I am hoping (fingers crossed) to get a good 2 or 3 year run from
Nubeqa
.

Nubeqa
I am now on Nubequa 300 MG. 2 X a day. It has been working. No real side affects. Ztytiga basically stopped working for me.

Darolutamide vs. Apalutamide vs. Enzalutamide
If side effects are intolerable from enzalutamide or apalutamide then this should provide ammo to justify switch to
Nubeqa
. Especially for brain related problems. https://www.practiceupdate.com/C/121225/56?

My doctor isnt onboard with using tamoxifen to lower E2
This is happening because I am taking
Nubeqa
as a monotherapy, and even though my testosterone is only in the 450 range, a lot of it must be converting to E2 and making my boobies grow.

Is Nubeqa approved for Metastatic CRPC?
From my limited reading
Nubeqa
seems to be used for Metastatic HSPC, is it also used for metastatic CRPC? thanks.

Nubeqa (Darolutimide) mono-therapy update
I am so far very pleased with
Nubeqa
, and hoping for continued PSA decline, and a nice, long run on it ! I think it may be the best new anti-androgen out there.
