NSAID's (like Ibuprofen) with Apixaban
Hi I have been on Apixaban for some years, following Persistent AF, now resolved after an ablation in 2020. Like all senior citizens I get bouts of muscle pain. Ibuprofen is not recommended because of the risk of intestinal bleeding, though I have taken it for short periods and it works really well

Joint flare ups after Pfizer covid booster
Also interested in what your doctors are saying about how much taking
NSAIDs
affects us developing immunity after the vaccine. Does anyone know if there have been any tests carried out to check that it’s worth having the vaccine if taking naproxen.

Off prednisone and only taking
NSAIDS
. After reading about Long COVID, it’s seems to mimic my symptoms. I did have COVID in early 2020 than followed up with caring for hundreds COVID positive patients. Or it may be fibromyalgia. I simply don’t know.

Duloxetine - Lack of Motivation
Hi All :) First time posting - I was diagnosed with CFS and Fibromyalgia about 3 years ago after having symptoms for over 10 years prior. I always worked full time through the pain, I had so many 'crashes' a year but dealt with them as they came. However, I stopped working in January after a really

Ruxolitinib and NSAIDs
Would anyone care to comment on the Jakafi label warnings against using
NSAIDs
? There is reportedly an increased risk of bleeding. If this is really the case, I guess I'm limited to acetaminophen for pain management.

Hell is back in town
I know ‘pain medication’ are dirty words these days but thank the Lord for Opiates, Analgesics and
NSAIDS
! Pilates is a big part of my daily routine. 3 x 1 hours sessions per week plus 4 x 15 minute sessions first thing to get me moving more easily.

Histamines Affecting Asthma?
I do of course avoid all of my asthma triggers,
NSAIDS
, paint smells, etc. Just recently I seemed to have developed an intolerance to alcohol. Although not a big drinker I am now not able to tolerate a small bottle of beer, or small glass of wine.

Donating and Ibuprofen
I've heard you can't take
NSAIDs
after donating. I'm worried if I donate then I won't be able to take ibuprofen for my cramps??

and Tylenol barely touches the pain. I would love to take painkillers but, I can’t be on those forever. Please help with any advice that you can because I’m desperate! Thank you so much, Christa

New research on NSAID's and inflammation
The authors posited that by turning off the body’s natural inflammatory processes,
NSAIDs
might drive a compensatory response – ramping up the activity of pro-inflammatory pathways.

Intracrinology-Revisited and Prostate Cancer
Following the observation that AKR1C enzymes demonstrate variable sensitivity to inhibition by
NSAIDs
(89,90), NSAID analogs have been repurposed to generate compounds that inhibit only AKR1C3 and not AKR1C1, AKR1C2 or AKR1C4 and lack inhibition of PGH2 synthases (COX-1 and COX-2).

Anybody use NSAIDS, in particular cox-2 inhibitors?
Use of
NSAIDS
is strongly discouraged for those of us using an anticoagulant due to the small risk of gastrointestinal bleeding that
NSAIDS
pose.

Just prescribed Meloxicam by my GP for joint pain and headaches.
I've read a lot of conflicting feedback concerning the success/drawbacks of
NSAIDs
for people currently on an Afib regimen. Thanks for reading.

NSAIDs - anyone ? part 2.
I wrote , about a month ago , about groin pain from pelvic fractures ; prescribed naproxen , which proved a life saver for groin pain and RA pain in general ; rheumatologist instruction to taper off naproxen. I had a rheumatology meeting end July and went armed with all the information gained from

NSAIDs
After my angioplasty I was put on Clopidogrel and I have read that you cannot take
NSAIDs
with them as it increases bleeding risks. I suffer with condrochronitis(inflammation of the chest wall) and I am having a flare up.
