Facet joint pain lumbar spine
So far I have gone through physio twice, one on one Pilates, acupuncture and local pain management none of which helped, unfortunately I can't take
NSAIDS
so I'm restricted in pain killers. This spinal injections treatment has me very nervous.

How far are we from HIV/AIDS cure ?
Will there ever be a cure for HIV in the not so distant future-say 15 years or so ? I wish this virus can be eradicated in my lifetime. Taking a tablet that makes me drunk and suicidal everyday is a constant reminder that I'm living with this virus. I wish there could also be an injection instead of

Colonoscopy and upper endoscopy. Had cryptosporidium. Now stool change, noisy stomach + burning. Help!
It was minor ulcers probably caused from
NSAIDs
. Also had a coeliac (spelled celiac, where I'm from) biopsy, which was negative. The stomach burning started a few days after the procedure. I figured it was normal, since I just had biopsies.

How to determine amount of injectable B12 ml's to take, when switching from oral to injections?
I have an ulcer from
NSAIDS
(biopsy). I have some sort of iron absorption problem. Ferritin is now increased to 54, but other iron values now indicate iron toxicity.

Aspirin yes or no?
When I realized I panicked & looked up contraindications of taking aspirin with methotrexate.. on some sites it’s a definite no no & on others it says it’s fine if 75mg or less.. it also comes under the
nsaids
umbrella which includes naproxen... one thing I’m very certain of is that yesterday & today

Introduction and a bit of ranting
Hello forum, My name is Tarek, I’m Egyptian, I’ve been diagnosed with Hiv at the first day of the current year, I have no idea how long I’ve had it but I can say that it’s less than a year because my last checkup was a year ago (unless the last checkup wasn’t accurate, which is very likely with the public

Thin lining, aspirin?
I don't know if I have taken aspirin before, although I have taken other
NSAIDs
without any problems, so should it be safe for me to try? Anyone with some experience of this I'd love to hear from you, this is really dragging me/us down

Pain Meds vs Kidneys
I'm pretty new to Kidney Desease and a Diabetic, but I've just been wondering what over-the-counter pain med (like aspirin, ibuprofen,
nsaids
such as Advil, Aleve, Motrin, Ecotrin, etc. ) is the LEAST harmful to my Kidneys, if any.

False Positive is not the same as worried well
Dear Community Members, I would like to clarify that my previous message about postings from the worried well was not in any way an attack or a dismissal of the issue of false positive test results. Getting a positive diagnoses for HIV is a life changing experience for all of us that have gone through

The Worried Well
Dear HIV Partners Community Members, You may have noticed that there have been a number of postings recently from people who are worried about getting HIV after they have taken part in very low risk sexual behaviour, they then do not accept the results of numerous negative HIV tests and keep posting

How do people keep their jobs? In a lot of pain and called in sick again!
Nsaids
irritate my bowel so I end up with IBS symptoms that make it difficult to leave house and paracetamol does very little but vaguely better than nothing. Mefenamic acid I had a bad reaction to as a teenager and can't take again.

Choices of risk v pain control
Hello I am new to health-unlocked. I am wondering if anyone else is in a similar position to myself? I have had joint and muscle pain for many years eventually controlled by nsaid's for 15yrs. This enabled me to continue my working life. I was taken off them 5years ago due to the increased risks of

LDN questions my medical team can't/won't answer!
NSAIDS
, or paracetemol do not cut it. 4. Alcohol and LDN. I do not drink very often, but when I do I usually drink to get drunk! ie. more than a bottle of wine. Is this DANGEROUS while on LDN. Should I skip my nightly dose if I am DRUNK going to bed?

Survive on NSAIDs
I usually survive on
NSAIDs
while going through my periods. Every month, I dread the situation and life comes to a standstill because I am in bed most of the time.

Doctor refused morphine and laughed at me!
She also ignored when I told her the side effects of me taking
NSAIDs
medication and decided I needed to take mefenamic acid tablets. I came home and for the first time in 2 years I cried my eyes out. I dont know what to do anymore but I cannot carry on with this pain.
