Survive on NSAIDs

Hey. I am 45 years of age and I think I have entered menopause. I always had regular periods but for six months, the periods have become irregular. I mean they are date specific but the first three days are very painful. I used to have menstrual cramps in my young days but they were not as painful as the ones I get now. My back aches a lot when my periods are approaching. The first three days are very uncomfortable and I am said to be too edgy. Then the bleeding starts which is very heavy. Sometimes there is clotting with my bleed. It lasts only a day or two and then gradually subsides. I looked it up online and the symptoms are very similar to endometriosis. Is it possible for me to get affected by this condition at this age? Should I get an appointment with my gynecologist or let it go because of normal menopause? I usually survive on NSAIDs while going through my periods. Every month, I dread the situation and life comes to a standstill because I am in bed most of the time.
