Another bump in the road!
Immflammation seems to be the culprit ,, so they started me in high doses of
NSAIDS
around the clock along with Colchicine once each morning . Cough medicine and told me to rest and keep aware of any new symptoms etc,, so yes, another 4 day stay at HUP.

Occasional Celebrex whilst on Eliquis?
I realise that anticoagulants and
NSAIDS
should not be taken together due to risk of bleeding, but I have read some studies stating that Celebrex has the lowest incidence of bleeding. Just wondering if anyone has opinions on if it would be OK to take Celebex occasionally for these flareups.

NSAIDs and Kidney damage
Hi so I've been advised by my GP to take Ibuprofen for my endometriosis pain, which is mainly around my periods, that's usually enough to manage it. It works best if I preload it so I usually take it three days before and then three days during, so a total of 6 days a cycle (about 30ish days). I've

Medication side-effects
I’ve never had this reaction before with anti-depressants or
NSAIDS
so I’m a bit worried! Does anyone have any advice or similar experiences they can relate to? Thank you in advance!

4 years post viral meningitis and still suffering horrible after effects.
I went to see her, explained the entire situation and she thought I might have hemicrania continua and wanted me to take indomethacin but I am allergic to
NSAIDs
so I couldn’t take it and she basically told me she couldn’t do anything.

Anyone had an Acute Kidney Stage Warning?
I can't tolerate
NSAIDs
, am not on any meds for high blood pressure, nor any of the other meds mentioned. Looking at the kind of patients at risk, I suppose I fall into the "frail, chronic disease, and low blood pressure" categories.

Prednisolone and Crohns
Clear of infections and
nsaids
The GP has given me 5mg x6 a day as I wait for a pillcam endoscopy. My questions are, does this sound like crohns ? if it is how long does Pred take to ease my symptoms ? My mum has crohns also but is on pentasa and been in remission for 20 years.

Lymph node pain
I am not interested in pain meds either (other than OTC
NSAIDs
). Is there a point in taking more antibiotics? Any idea what I can expect/has anyone dealt with this?

I'm on blood thinners, and was told no
nsaids
however today told the a couple of them to help with pain should be fine. I'm awaiting to see anticoagulant clinic on Monday but wondered if anyone has any self help ideas to relieve pain and get rid of it as laying down is a nightmare at the moment.

Slowly giving up.
That's cool, but for 15 years I've been struggling on with
NSAIDs
and now the Ibuprofen seems to be making my asthma worse ( though people seem to look at me like I have two heads when I say it)and so I can't even take that. The joint pain is awful. Sorry again lol. I have a tendency to run on.

Just diagnosed 4 days ago with thrombocytopenia
Just from reading literature and what I went through 4 years post car accident, I am wondering if taking the
NSAIDS
with my pain killers did this to me. I took for a long time but never more than the daily amount I should. It is very hard to accept .

I've been through the usual regime of medication try outs, from
NSAIDs
, to anti-TNFs and - most recently - Biologicals. I've also tried lots and lots of the alternatives, from visiting Shaman healers in the Amazon forest to Gong ceremonies to accupunture (on the NHS!)
