What are the options for joint and muscle pain?
I can't take
NSAIDS
coz they upset my stomach big time and co-codamol is ok v short term but I do get rebound headaches with it if I take it more than a couple of days. One last thing! Is pain like this common with APS, or is it more the associated conditions that come with it? Thanks!

Successful hospital followup
She took the time to listen and answer my many questions (palindromic or ra and can I take
nsaids
along with mtx when my pain increases etc). She then did thorough examination before discussing options.

Can anybody recommend good gynaecologist within West/ East Midlands area, or maybe London.. anywhere in UK. I am suffering from terrible pelvic pain an I know that it is gynaecological problem however I do not exactly know what is causing this terrible pain. I need the treatment but I cannot seem

Stiff legs!!
Also - because of the same meds I can't take ibuprofen or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatories (
NSAIDs
). If my calves do get stiff to the point of painfullness (unlikely I know, but I like to be prepared) is anyone else in the same situation and what have you done to ease it?

Other treatments for Behcet's
It's common for Behcet's patients to need other drugs too: anti-depressants to help manage mood and pain; stomach acid meds; anti-nausea drugs;
NSAIDs
, migraine meds; topical hydrocortisone; viscous lidocaine, etc. Most important on top of all this? Rest, and lots of it.

How my first appointment went.....
Well that's it. I haven't written this straight after my appointment as I needed to get my head around it and what it all means. My appointment was last week, the 23rd. I went in with a relatively open mind. Not expecting a lot. I had written every thing down as so many people have said too. When

Neuropathic Pain
Some neuropathic pain studies suggest the use of
NSAIDs
or an analgesic with morphine. Anticonvulsant and antidepressant drugs and various pain relievers seem to work in some cases.

Pain control . . . please help! GP and gyno wont do anything
Also they wont give me any pain meds for it due to my intolerance for non steroidal anti-inflammatory durgs (
NSAIDs
). But I have been in absolutely agony all weekend and now this week and I feel a lot worse than normal. Still I am getting no help from the docs. Any advice or help would be amazing!

Inflammatory arthritis, lung condition - morphone patches and benzodiazapines.
Tried and for one reason or another cannot take
NSAIDs
, DMARDS and some analgesics. GP gave me Buprenorphine patches (morphine). On reading the blurb I became most concerned. Has anyone who has arth and a lung condition used them? I would like to hear if they affected your breathing.

Kidney function/NSAIDs
Is there an alternative to
NSAIDs
that others use? I have to be very careful as the BP med ramipril very kindly gave me angio-oedema which means my drug usage is quite restricted anyway.

Non-steroidal Anti-inflammatory Drugs (NSAID's) and Ovulation...
I read somewhere when researching about
NSAIDs
(Non-steroidal Anti-inflammatory Drugs) and the implications is can have when trying for a baby. It can delay ovulation, as some inflammation is needed in order for the follicle in the ovary to push out an egg.

Does Add-back therapy / HRT (tibolone) stop prostap from working? Anyone have any experience?
I can't take
NSAIDs
. I am actually waking up in the night now in so much pain that I can't move, my body feels stuck. A minor detail - I am glad I am on HRT because I broke my leg while drowsy on morphine about 4 months ago and don't want the increased risk of osteoporosis!!!

I cant take
NSAIDS
as I'm allergic to most of them we've tried so far (Ibuprofen, Diclofenac, Naproxen etc.). Does anyone have any advice on how to lose weight whilst on Pregabalin? Is it possible to prevent weight loss even if you are on acalorie reduced diet and excersise program?
