Norethisterone advice please.
The GP has given me
Norethisterone
to take but after reading about it, it seems that after coming off it the periods are worse and more painful than ever?

Uterine Polyps??

norethisterone
. Heavy bleeding/flooding is getting unmanageable now, as I'm a mixed vet so have to go on farm and as you can imagine flooding when in the middle of performing surgery is not the greatest either! Got a referral to to recommended specialist and saw him on Monday.

Waiting for bleed....
Hi everyone, I haven't had a period since stopping BCP three years ago and even when they've tried to induce a bleed with
Norethisterone
it's has never worked. I am now waiting to start my first round of IVF and was put on Microgynon for 21 days in the hope I will have a withdrawal bleed.

Norethisterone
I've been put on
norethisterone
5 mg x 3 a day for my period that finally arrived after 4 months and lasted 14 days and kinda washed me out with it being so heavy.

Microgynon before IVF?
Even when iv taken
Norethisterone
I have barely had a bleed? Has anyone else ever experienced this? I feel so on my own with it. I just feel like I am so abnormal. It's so upsetting. I am now on the pill for 21 days and so badly hoping it actually gives me a bleed so I can finally start.

So much pain 😢
My gp put me on
norethisterone
but said i have to have a break every 10-15 days. I didn't listen to her and took it every day. This caused my depression to worsen. Gp said i HAVE to have a break. I knew this meant i would have a period but i took her advice.

The GP has now put me on
Norethisterone
. Two a day for ten days then a 10-15 break...surely during that time I am going to have a (painful) period in that break!! Has anyone any experience of this? Has anyone finally been given relief from endo and adeno?

B12, hormones and the menopause
to figure out some way of managing that - which may mean trying cutting the tablets into fractions and seeing what that does (nothing like a bit of experimental medicine :)) So a) wondering what others have experienced of B12 and the menopause b) wondering what others have experienced in terms of

Negative results but no bleed...?
I had the option to just continue waiting for things to happen naturally or take
Norethisterone
tablets to induce a bleed. I opted for the tablets and am now halfway through the course, but my head and body feel all over the place.

Endometriosis, Norethisterone and so many Tablets!
After surgery I have been put on pill (
norethisterone
) to reset my cycle and subsequently a new pill (Gedarel) which gave me severe abdominal pain so I have stopped that one immediately.

When to start Clomid?!
My consultant advised me to take
norethisterone
for 5 days and then start Clomid on day 2 of a bleed. I finished the
norethisterone
on Tuesday and had nothing until yesterday. Yesterday I started spotting/v light bleed and it's continued today but no heavier.

Norethisterone - Honest Opinion?
I have now been prescribed
Norethisterone
to stop the bleeding and apparently it will alleviate the pain I have been in - I have been reading reviews of people having extremely bad mood swings, I have been quite depressed over the last few weeks about this all happening again and I'm concerned these

Norethisterone
Hi ,I was put on 5mg
norethisterone
in June 2014 and ended up on it for 9 months. My consultant decided that I needed to come off the high doses and take Noriday instead. I was very happy to do that as even though they stopped theb bleeding and pain I was having loads of side effects.

In agony after stopping norethisterone
Has anyone got any experiences of stopping
norethisterone
? I was on it for 9 months after my mirena fell out and I needed a transfusion.

GP prescribed me
norethisterone
3x a day but that seems to have also caused me to experience my migraines daily for the last 4/5 weeks. I'm also currently signed off work between the two issues as it is disrupting day to day activities.

Treatments always wear off/mood swings?
Then i was put on
norethisterone
which helped for 2 months before i had to put the dose up. 4 months later i switched to microgynon because i was having problems again. And now, its back again.
