Norethisterone

Either take norethisterone and see how that goes or surgery for excision. I want a family and he said some women can conceive naturally and others need help. I just wondered what other people’s experience was of norethisterone. thank you .

Therefore, I took norethisterone for two weeks this month, three times a day, hoping that my period would start soon after stopping the medication. This way, my period would be over before my vacation.

I took norethisterone as prescribed 3 times a day for like 13 days or something. My last pill was Sunday, today is Wed and still got no bleed? I called my nurse already and she is not worried, as she mentioned bleeding happens within 3-5days.

Our first cycle we had downregulation with norethisterone but it gave me horrendous side effects which required me to stop working. My response to stims was slow to begin and not wonderful, 5 eggs, of which 4 were mature.

I’ve always been prescribed provera or norethisterone before to schedule my bleed so have no true experience of a natural start. I’ve also had tostran and DHEA priming previously though obviously they don’t really alter how you start.

Last cycle had down regulation with norethisterone, which caused huge mood swings. This cycle I have not so I know more of how I'm feeling. I had my first injection at 7 pm and just felt very soon after a huge wave of irritability?! Is this my imagination or....?

does anyone have experience with norethisterone to delay period for holidays ect? I have never used it but i have a holiday coming up that the pain of being on my period would completely ruin. For me, delaying the period pain is a main priority.

I am currently on norethisterone with egg retrieval provisionally for 1st Nov. We had a 30min chat with a nutritionist yesterday which was included in our treatment and it was good.

Basically I had 11 days of Norethisterone, then after the bleed I started Meriofert 300mg daily then on the fifth day of taking Meriofert I started Ganirelix 25mg in the mornings too. I am due to have a blood test and scan on Monday 26th August, with potential egg collection on Wednesday 28th.

I went to see a consultant and he prescribed norethisterone. I've had a couple of floods on it and over the weekend a lot of clotty bleeds. In between it's been spotting.

I’ve been prescribed Norethisterone to control heavy periods but since being on them my lower abdomen feels heavy like there’s pressure. Has anyone else experienced this?

The doctors then decided I try Norethisterone, a period delay pill. I started taking them, and if did stop my period, but after 3 days it would return, and I’ve been in a cycle of talking them and then it keeps returning. So I’ve decided they are not working and it was my last option.

Has anyone experienced spotting whilst taking Norethisterone during the first phase of IVF? I just found the lightest bit of spotting, I’m on day 6 of taking Norethisterone and will be stopping on the 26th so am not expecting a period until after that.

Had to go to A & E twice, they prescribed me Norethisterone for 10 days, but bleeding didn’t stop, went again to AE and they’ve added Tranexamic Acid. I’ve had slight improvement for 2-3 days after taking these pills for 2 days but bleeding returned and it returned very heavy.

Today I was prescribed Norethisterone for 5 days to induce my period, then I can request frozen embryo transfer once that happens. Has anyone else done this before? How was it? Hope to hear from someone if possible :)

10 day course of norethisterone prescribed to time start of my next cycle. I am due on my period today (if I had not been on norethisterone). My last day of taking it is tomorrow. I have been feeling so groggy with mild period pains and really tired. Hot flashes at night.

After speaking with the on call Gynecology doctor, he wanted me to go onto norethisterone indefinitely and he did not want to discuss any other options. so far i have refused to take that medication. the only reason it has come up that i have been diagnosed is due to it showing up on a recent MRI. another

hi all, I’ve been started on norethisterone and to line up dates as I am going on holiday, they’ve put me on it for 4 weeks. However, I am now 15 days in and today have been bleeding heavily.

Has anyone taken NORETHISTERONE prior to starting ivf? I took it on my first cycle for 7 days from day 19.I am wondering if I can start it on day 18 instead, that would mean my period would start before my clinic closes for a few days around the new year.
