Gamma globulin
Today I go for my monthly gamma globulin infusion I usually do well except I get very tired and at times nauseous. Anyone here gets these infusions? I have been on Imbruvica for 4 years with little side affects, but recently my wbc and lymphocytes are climbing and my platelets are dropping slowly. I

Thoughts on PV/ET
There are a lot of new posters here (I’ve been here 3 months and feel like an old hand!) who are understandably nervous and worried. The dreaded cancer word and for many of us, our first real brush with our own mortality. However, there are two really important factors we need to focus on. PV and especially

C T Scan results
The results were not good. There was small, but continued growth in the left lung tumor and new growth in a previously stable nodule in the right lung. After reviewing all the possibilities for treatment and the very slow progression of the tumors, my oncologist and I decided on a watch and wait plan

Talking about blood...
Hi everybody, I must say this site is certainly a godsend when it comes to giving encouragement and inspiration. So thanks everybody who replies to worries, anxiety and concerns, especially those not fully addressed by GPs because of time restraints. The latest posts on blood are of particular interest

17 years of various treatments
Hi Y'all, Regarding my husband, I have dragged him through 17 years of various treatments--all failed. However, he is still alive and kicking after all these years and we are grateful for that. He has lived a mostly normal, unaffected life through it all. He had a laparoscopic prostatectomy done

Chostocondritis Flare-up
Is there anything that anyone can recommend, I am coming to the end of my Baclofen and Dihydrocodeine, and I am still getting flair ups. Does anyone know of any natural remedies, in terms of pain management, rather than have to rely on medication, because I am aware that overuse, can lead to addiction

Optivo Skin trouble
I take care of my 90 year old mother. She was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer. More than 5 years ago. She had Chemo Alimta with carboplaten for 2 years. Then went on Tarceva pills for 2 more. . They stopped working. Her doctor started her on Optivo. 1 2 &3 treatment went fine. Well #4 was a doosey

Newly diagnosed – ET Jak2+ with added drama!
Hi everyone! I've been wanting to post here for some time, but it's taken me a couple of months to get a diagnosis and it's been a bit of a rollercoaster! Back in September 2017 I went to the doctor with weight loss and fatigue. Blood tests came back "normal" but a scan revealed I had a very enlarged

Advice for veno-occlusive/sinosoidal obstruction disease
Hi everyone, I’m new here. I’m 30 years old and I started having right upper abdomen pain about 18 months ago. To cut a very long story short I have now had a tentative diagnosis of VOD/SOD following many scans and liver biopsy. I am in pain every day but my LFTs are all normal and I don’t have ascites
