My dad recently diagnosed with NSCLC... Need help..
Hi all, My dad (64 years old) found out on 2/28/18 that they suspected lung cancer following a CT scan. It was confirmed and I got him in ASAP with Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa. After a PET scan, it was confirmed stage 4 NSCLC. My hope was in the Opdivo/Yervoy clinical trial they were offering

Worried about my man!
Good evening, I’m new here and I just need a sounding board. My 51 year old partner has been having problems since nov 17, and although not diagnosed formally had been told that he has ILD and that has caused other serious complications (autoimmune haemolytic anaemia) and is now on oxygen at home in

Struggling with FND diagnosis
Hi everyone, I’m very glad to have found this site! I was diagnosed with FND at the end of January so this is all very new to me. To give you some background I have a very complex set of medical conditions- I have Cystic Fibrosis and underwent a successful double lung transplant in 2012, so I am immunosuppressed

Is there anywhere I can go to talk to people who are on this list? I really need some one who understands?

CLL and Myeloma anyone?
I've had CLL with no treatment for 11 years but recently broke my collarbone and xray and CT scan revealed multiple myeloma. Treatment for myeloma started 4 days ago and the plan is to have stem cell transplant in 3-4 months. Anyone in the same boat and could stem cell transplant also help the CLL.

Flying with Iressa and lung cancer will
Hi all, I was lucky to have the mutation for Iressa and have been on it for nearly 6 months. The scan in Jan showed shrinkage and s/e bearable. I’m 72 and I’ve just booked a flight from New Zealand to Cape Town - 27 or more hours which is terribly long. Any suggestions to help make the trip more bearable

Stem Cell Transplant
I've just been watching the BBC new and they were talking about a relatively new treatment for MS that kills off your immune system with chemo and then transplants your own stem cells back in, re-booting your immune system. Can all autoimmune disease patients benefit from a stem cell transplant and would

What to do
End of the line with 20% chance of success. Stage 4 lung cancer diagnosed July 2017 strongest chemotherapy possible for 6 rounds 3 weeks apart, caused the tumor to shrink by 50% but came back one month later and spread to my liver and traveling up my spine, they want to try immunotherapy for 2 months
