We are not time stamped... have they considered a lung transplant?
Hi it does sound a nasty disease (I googled it) but while there is life there is hope. There are other options which may be application such as valves, coils, or even a lung transplant. The latter usually depends on a variety of factors and there is usually an age cut off date.
If the doctor is talking about possibility returning to work s/he mustn't think the end is near. If it was then I think they wouldn't say wait and see they would tell him. x
kkfrank, my name is kim but I go by 2pray4us. , Learning new discoveries about our health when things are bad is a bad thing, and yes we wish we could see the future in drastic situations such as this but that's not how life works so we try to make the best of the situation. No doctor can really tell you when its your time to die they can just assume, but God gave us life to live abundantly. No matter what is going on in his life you just have to pray for the best and don't take life for granted. I have stage 4copd, use 6-8 liter oxygen at all times. 3yrs ago I was breathing on 27percent of my own lungs, but now they say its 19percent.I thank God for giving man the knowledge that they have but I thank him more for giving me the knowledge of him. I don't know your faith or if you even believe in God but he keeps a smile on my face and I trust him because he is in the miracle business, and that's what we all need. So live life to the fullest and pray for God to do the rest .
