Gabapentin?
She has prescribed
Neurontin
(Gabapentin) and after reading about them before I started them on Friday , as I wasn't sure about them with all the side effects, I'm only on 300mg a day but the pain has eased a bit and I am interested if anyone has taken these and the outcome they have had.

Neurontin advice
Today I was prescribed
Neurontin
to try and help with the pain, which as I am sure you are all more than aware, is becoming too unbearable lately.

I just wanna cry
I have completed a round of steroids and I remain on
neurontin
for the tingling sensations. My blood work from March 2014 indicated that I did not have APS, however a previous diagnosis was made in 2007 by my reproductive specialist.

Parkinsonism
All the drugs I've tried -- sinemet,
neurontin
, amantidine, etc -- have backfired and resulted in a wild exacerbation of all my symptoms. In many ways I look like a classic PD person but not in others. I had a DaT scan which was inconclusive. Now I'm on zonisamide.

What I don't get is...
When I try any of these meds -- sinemet, amantidine, even
neurontin
-- the tremor, which is in my right arm/hand, spreads to my right leg, head and voice and speeds up too. I feel like I've gone from the "wash" cycle to the "spin" cycle! Have any of you had this experience?

I've been diagnosed with interstitial cystitis and have gotten trigger point injections in my abdomen monthly since June, tried

I started with
Neurontin
recently and I have to keep increasing my dose as it wears off quickly. How can I get people t understand without driving myself mad??

Hi my doc is now convinced my peripheral nerve symptoms in hands anf feet is due to herniated lumbar disc
Had a cold and cough about time of funeral. He tells me treatment would be the same ( and it does keep the nerves reasonably quiet)
neurontin
and amytryptoline . My main concern is if it is something inflammatory damage COUKD occur before or even if I got a diagnosis.

I haven't been on this site for a while, I've been isolating! A friend told me that I should be on the site because of the way I feel.
I hope this makes sense thanks to the
Neurontin
, LOL. Does anyone else feel like this? If so how are you dealing with it?

Neurontin, for nerve pain, does it affect arterial inflammation?
If there is suspected nerve problems causing the pain,
Neurontin
may help. Swelling will not be helped and
Neurontin
can actually cause swelling in the hands, legs and feet in some people." Same site. From Doctor Bennett Machianac "
Neurontin
: drowsiness, dizziness, weight gain, ankle/foot edema.

A word on neurontin
The information on
neurontin
is that it can act as an inhibitor for IL 6, which I posted previously (from a search). Will find the post. Believe this may be good news on
neurontin
- again Dr. is the best. If this is so,
neurontin
may well help in the anti inflammatory process.

Gabbapentin/ neurontin
Just wondering if anyone suffered side effects taking this, if so did they last or wear off? I've just had my dose increased from 100mg 3 times to 200mg x3 a day. At the moment I don't feel like me at all - I feel really quite low and sleeping at every opportunity and not enthused to do anything at all
