Neurontin

I’m even considering trialing Neurontin or anything similar to see if I may experience some relief from this debilitating pain. I’m getting very anxious and worried that my body has developed a tolerance to Lyrica and may not be as effective anymore. Advice will be greatly appreciated.

So she is currently on 0.375 mg (some days up to 0.5 mg) and 900 mg neurontin. I know DAs are not optimal, but at this point it would really be a problem to withdraw, especially that mom did start with neurontin and at a higher dose and it didn't help her.

I have had kidney problems with pred, methotrexate, statins, istins, neurontin, folic, Omeprazole, etc etc! My physio at my hospital rehabilitation centre is worrying about my health - so , in one way you are getting concern from your doctor and this allows you to have a genuine dialogue.

Usually, the severe pain is treated with drugs such as Lyrica or Neurontin, but typically, I am allergic to both! It was a massive lupus flare, the likes of which my consultant had never seen. It had happened once before when I was 17 years. At that time no one knew what it was.

I have been on gabapentin neurontin for several months but I read that on the Mayo website that the time release version (horizant) is better suited for treating RLS. I currently take 1200 mg of gabapentin neurontin in two doses at 7 and bedtime.

I I had serious augmentation after seven years in pramipexole 2 mg and Gabapentin 2400 at 5, 8, and 10 pm to no avail so Neurontin/sleep said taper quickly and it was disastrous. I had to go much, much more slowly.

I've already tried neurontin and Lyrica and was not able to take them. I want to stay on tramadol but wish that I didn't get hot in my face. Has anyone ever experienced this?

Still can’t figure out how to change her medications, because she is on pramipexole 0,375 plus neurontin 1200 mg at the same time, which is not common here it seems. If she tapers off pramipexole should she increase neurontine at the same time?

Can someone help to decide what to do next, she is probably augmenting on pramipexole, but is already taking Neurontin, what should be the way out here? I am confused, should she up her Neurontin pills and slowly reduce pramipexole? I would really appreciate any advice.

She is also on Pramipexole 0.375 and Neurontin 1200 mg. While we are waiting for an appointment with a neurologist to discuss her augementation that she seems to be experiencing, can someone give feedback about iv iron. Do you need several infusions and how often?

Neurontin, Losartan, Amitriptyline, OMEPRAZOLE, Methotrexate, Furosemide, Amlodipine, Atorvastatin, Eternacept Injections, Prednisolone, Folic Acid, Aspirin and Aciferol(Colecalciferol).

And her Neurontin dose is 1200 mg. Did anyone have the same problem and what did your doctor explain to you about it? What can and should be done? Thanks a lot!

I had built up to take 300mg of Neurontin at 4 weeks and then requested a repeat prescription and agreement from my NHS GP to increase the dose to 600mg. The Neurontin was definitely assisting but not completely.

Have tried Tramadol, Neurontin, Tylenol, Ibuprofen with little help. Baclofen does help when adding it to the above. Does anyone have this and know of the source or cause? I fear its damage to the small blood vessels from early years of uncontrolled diabetes. Does anything help?

It was originally prescribed for nerve pain back when it first hit the market as Neurontin. Now I would like to switch to pregabalin. I would like to switch to pregabalin because it's less expensive.

A year ago she was first prescribed pramipexole (0.25 and she takes 1.5 pills) and neurontin to take occasionally, and it first was working great, but in 6 months it got worse, she tried Requip, but it doesn't really help much.
