Has anyone experienced, or known of any PD patient with an impulse control disorder? My problem is skin picking.
I have gone off Mirapex. added 200mg of
neurontin
as well as an anti-anxiety drug - all to little avail. I have had 2 serious staph infections and the dermatitus has spread from scalp and nose to my chin and ears.

not quite diagnosed?
I take
neurontin
and requip which do help with the pain. I have not wanted to get any more aggressive with my therapy until I have a for sure diagnosis. Anyways, trying to keep it short. Just looking for some confirmation or reassurance here.

Drugs, Drugs & more Drugs
Before she refers me to the pain clinic, has put me on a pain killer called Gabapentin (
Neurontin
). The pharmacist assures me it is very good. (the list of side effects are horrendous - I know they have to cover themselves against all eventualities!). Has anyone else had experience of this one?

Just a little info I have on my facebook related to Fibro
Gabapentin (
Neurontin
) is sometimes helpful in reducing fibromyalgia symptoms, while pregabalin (Lyrica) was the first drug approved by the Food and Drug Administration to treat fibromyalgia.
