Had first MRI now need to see ENT specialist
Hi I’ve had high pitched Tinnitus in my left ear for a few years now and recently after a few bad hearing tests was referred to an ENT specialist, he checked me and said I have to go for an MRI and hearing test. I had the MRI and recently received a letter saying I need to see him in a couple of weeks

I had radiation four years ago for an acoustic

A potential treatment side effect for many of us.
My audiologist was alarmed enough to order an MRI to rule out acoustic
neuroma
. I have repeatedly asked whether the chemo could have played a role in my accelerating hearing impairment. This is the first article I found supporting the concept.

Wondering how people manage if they have Mortons
Neuroma
? My feet are numb and walking is a challenge…. Footwear also an issue, as my feet after 20 years of RA, are a mess. See a Podiatrist next week…. Just curious. I live in Scotland and am Abatacept weekly and daily prednisone.Ty.

Luckily i don't have gallstones but do have a mortons
neuroma
( trapped nerve) in foot after my foot op. The test has aggravated it a bit so i hope it will settle. Ive had such a good result from the steroid injection.

Dizziness.... can your body compensate in other ways?
Hi I have a small acoustic
neuroma
on the balance nerve on my right hand side. Ive lost most of my hearing on that side and have tinnitus. I’ve recently started to have bouts of dizziness also. Does anyone know......do you learn to adapt to the dizziness?

Neuroma
stopped growing in 2019/2020 but with annual scan in 2021 it had grown quickly to about 15mm. My hearing in the affected ear is deteriorating, my balance is not great and I get a heavy head when I do too much but have learnt how to live with and manage these symptoms.

Side effects of gamma knife
I had surgery on my
Neuroma
in August 2017 and again in May 2018, it took about a year to get my balance back to a decent standard.

Newly Diagnosed
Last week I was diagnosed with an Acoustic
Neuroma
, having gone suddenly deaf in my right ear 16 months ago, and eventually having an MRI 2 weeks ago. Apparently the tumour is 2.1cm x 5cm. I've been referred to a Skull Base surgeon, but who knows when I'll get an appointment with them.

Nausea
I have been diagnosed with vestibular schwannoma. It is 3.7cm diameter. I am awaiting surgery. I no longer like the taste of tea, coffee or milk. I have nearly constant nausea (but haven't been sick). Any tips on how to deal with this would be much appreciated. Paul

Hello
I'm waiting for an MRI scan to confirm or rule out acoustic
neuroma
. I missed a scan in January because I was unwell so now I'm going in April. I have one sided hearing loss with intrusive tinnitus but no other symptoms. Is it possible to have acoustic
neuroma
without any balance issues?

Aggitation
Hi, I'm awaiting tests for a suspected accoustic
neuroma
, I feel like I'm on a very short fuse, and getting agitated and upset more than normal. I wondered if this was something anyone else had experienced or whether it is just the stress of waiting..

Mystery a.n?
Hello, I have a mystery brain tumour! It was diagnosed in January as an A/N, however , rapid growth with odd symptoms have now put the diagnosis in question… does anyone have any suggestions as to what it may be? I have eye problems, near total deafness, balance problems, facial tremors all on the right
