Acoustic Neuroma and Strange rocking Sensation after being on a Cruise

Hi

I have just returned home from a 2 week cruise but I keep feeling like I’m moving and rocking slightly all the time when I’m actually still

Has anyone else with an Acoustic Neuroma been on a cruise and felt like this afterwards ?

If so how long did it last ? My balance was getting quite good before I went on holiday .

Most crew notice this it could be worse for you until your brain realises your back on dry land. It will settle down

I only know about it because I worked for Cunard for years on the QE2 making the soft furnishings. I was self employed but would board their ships often it was always funny to walk behind people that had just boarded and out to sea in the Atlantic for the first few days they would be walking almost sideways without realising it.

Haha, you got your sea legs, now you’ve got to regain your land legs! Might take a bit longer if your AN is blocking your inner ear canal, but nothing to worry about 😀
