I have been diagnosed with vestibular schwannoma. It is 3.7cm diameter. I am awaiting surgery. I no longer like the taste of tea, coffee or milk. I have nearly constant nausea (but haven't been sick). Any tips on how to deal with this would be much appreciated.

Sorry to hear you have been diagnosed with that too! I lost my sense of taste and felt sick a lot too. After the surgery i couldn't cope with even my husband drinking coffee in the same room because of the smell so he had to drink it elsewhere 😂but he understood and months later i no longer have that and can taste all my food ok now. I hope everything goes well for you, all the best for your treatment/surgery
Hi PaulI had digestive problems before my AN surgery and could only drink boiled water for about 12months prior to surgery and truly believe it helped with my recovery. You could alway add lemon juice
Hi Paula I didn’t suffer with nausea until after surgery but that came because my balance was affected as was the fact I was constantly dizzy (but dizzy within the inside of my head not room spinning dizzy… hard to explain) . The surgeon gave me travel sickness medication but the ones that you stick behind your ear . They helped .
Maybe you have the nausea because of similar things ? If so when it’s bad maybe try travel sickness meds ?
