Bursitis of toes & Steroid Injection
Two trips to GP (July & November 23) & finally preliminary diagnosis of Morton's
Neuroma
because of a burning nerve pain. Instead ultrasound has shown an inflamed bursa pressing on a nerve. GP has referred me for steroid injection which I'm not looking forward to, but felt I had little option.

Can you please share your experience with small acoustic
neuroma
? Also, What treatment you went with? I am really afraid that doctor will choose radiation.

Update on my check for possible Acoustic Neuroma.
I had my hearing test yesterday and was very relieved to hear that they didn’t think that I needed referring for a head scan or ENT appointment for suspected Acoustic
Neuroma
. Thanks very much for the support on this site.

Is anyone aware of any trials in Austria?
I have an acoustic
neuroma
in my left ear which is causing extreme tinnitus in my left ear. I have been unable to find a doctor in Austria that treats this effectively. Is anyone aware of anyone near Linz that does?

Driving
I noticed people have mentioned difficulties driving at night .Is this another symptom of having an acoustic
neuroma
or just an age thing ?

Dental implants...should I be concerned?
First off, I have an acoustic
neuroma
and found this out about 7 years ago via MRI. I've only been back to doc once to have another MRI done about 4 years ago and it had very little growth. I do have this ongoing funny feeling sensation in my head mostly when I drive.

Awaiting hospital appt
Hi I've had a letter through the post saying I have a small AN and now awaiting specialist appointment at Salford. I've had symptoms of tinnitus my referral to ENT was my ask not GPs and I was surprised when the ENT consultant offered me an MRI to put my mind at ease. I was expecting it to come back

Falling apart
I'm feeling weary, have slow digestion, put on about 4kg in the last 3 months, have freezing cold feet and my Morton's
Neuroma
is playing up again. On top of that I have a huge CBA attitude to anything and have trouble falling asleep. The thing that surprised me was that I have low antibodies.

I’m going to see a private ENT tomorrow, could I possibly have an acoustic

or is it unlikely ?

You are all babies so far that I have read. My tumor was removed by surgery AN and they called it a schwannoma. But who knew from what I was told I don't think they knew much. It was taken in 1990, a large bugger that left me deaf, palsied, tinnitus, open eyed, and short of balance., Neeedless

Headaches post Gamma knife surgery
6 weeks of headaches on the side of the tumour and they’ve been getting worse. I’m due to see the original ENT consultant on Wednesday next week but and ideas why now? It’s over 12 months since the Gamma knife and possibly due to Eustachian tube disfunction. The pain is sometimes sharp and intense

New Diagnosis of Acoustic Neuroma
I was diagnosed with AN 10days ago after suddenly losing my hearing in my right ear 18 months ago. I have had a long wait to see ENT specialist and originally diagnosed with otosclerosis until my MRI scan showed a 2cm AN. When the consultant told me I presumed it would be a wait and watch game but he
