I had my hearing test yesterday and was very relieved to hear that they didn’t think that I needed referring for a head scan or ENT appointment for suspected Acoustic Neuroma. Thanks very much for the support on this site.

Update on my check for possible Acoustic Neuroma.
it's good to hear that they don't suspected it as Acoustic Neuroma. but if you have headaches, problems with the vision or eye may be when using phone/computer, any hearing problems, it's important to prioritize your health and get the necessary medical attention. i believe almost all the patient who had Acoustic Neuroma at least visited eye specialist one or many times and they didn't diagnosis the problem in earlier stage. when it comes to worst only patient will getting facial numbness and other complications. i believe if you have any symptoms above better to visit Neuro Physician. Good Luck.
Great news, Dancenut! Thanks for letting us know. I hope you find out soon what the actual problem is, but at least this is one thing off your mind. Literally!! 😀
Thanks. Yes hopefully so. I need to find out why I get the few occasions of extremely loud tinnitus too that just come on and eventually die down, followed eventually by a migraine. I am on medication now for migraine and it seems to be helping a bit. Also trying to avoid some of the possible triggers I have. Not easy to do.
