Waiting for results of MRI, Google has taught me so much compassion...
It is unlikely that I have an acoustic
neuroma
, but I have learned so much and have read so many stories of courage. I do not know how I would react if my result revealed an acoustic
neuroma
. I had my MRI scan on Sunday and was told I will get my result within two weeks.

Allergic reaction to anaesthetic
I have Hashimotos and am concerned about the possibility of an allergic reaction(once had after anaesthetic) when I have an op in November on a
neuroma
and bunion on my foot. I have informed the Specialist of the drugs which were formally administered in the hope they can find an alternative.

ACOUSTIC NEUROMA
Hi, I have an AN and the MRI I had a few days ago revealed the size of the tumor at 2cm x 1.3cm. I have been having hearing loss and tinitis for nearly 3 years now. Can anyone tell me the options I have?

NF2 neuroma and Lyrica [Pregabalin] and scoliosis do not mix!!
I have a
neuroma
on my spine, and have been given Lyrica [Pregabalin], for a pain killer, after a week, I have decided to stop due to pain caused by scoliosis, the scoliosis is worsening due to effect of
neuroma
and the Lyrica is not helping it, ok it tends to dull the pain slightly of the

What sort of scoliosis is this?
I have a
neuroma
on the lumbar part of my spine [NF2] this is causing my spine to twist around deforming my diaphragm, [SCOLIOSIS] but this has now got to the stage that it is restricting my breathing to my brain, plus the "embarrassing side effects" of Fycompa for my epilepsy [EPILEPSY] leading to hyper

Really scared.
I have had a feeling of fullness in my left ear for 6months with sometimes pulsate tinnitus and other times a ringing tinnitus. If I blow down my nose it clears then when I swallow it's back. My GP referred me to an ENT consultant who says I probably have a form of ETD and some slight hearing loss but

Need help with Morton neuroma pain what do I do?
So I had the injection on the 19th of this month, now I can't put my foot on the floor. I'm walking on the side of my foot or my heal, because when I put it on the ground it feels like something sharp is digging inside my foot.. I don't know what to do any more. Any ideas

Lymphoedema + morton's neuroma
Hi all, Glad to find this LSN group as I've always felt alone with my condition! Newbie here with primary lymphoedema from age 12 but now diagnosed with 2 very painful Morton's neuromas nearly 40 years of age (in the same right foot). Due to have both excised as steroid injections haven't worked. Anyone

Have a strange feeling in the ball of my foot. Like I have something in my shoe but I don't. Could it be Neuroma???
I've googled and come up with "
neuroma
". Like a swollen, inflamed nerve in the foot. Anyone else experienced this? Thinking I need to see doctor about it.

Sadly, I am totally deaf in my left ear following an acoustic
neuroma
30 years ago. During the day I have high pitched hissing and when I go to bed I get tubular bells playing high pitched constant tones?

Tinnitus: Where to find help....
It has taken 4 years to get a head scan to rule out acoustic
neuroma
, see a GP with ent special interest and a hearing therapist.

1 Week on and anxiety has kicked in
Unfortunately, a long long time ago I had an Acoustic
Neuroma
brain tumour and had this removed but I could no longer hear in my left ear and never will. I had adapted over the many years to listen with 1 but a a couple of weeks ago I started getting a high pitched tone in my good ear.

New member - tinnitus & vascular loop help?
Had Mri IAM in Dec 16 (without contrast) to check for acoustic
neuroma
. Thankfully no AN, but it showed an "ectatic artery traversed more than 50% along the right internal auditory canal".

humming rather than hissing
I don't visit very often as my tinnitus is caused by an acoustic
neuroma
and my noises are (thankfully) less problemmatical for me than that suffered by many T sufferers. Recently, though, I've begun 'hearing' a humming throughout my whole head and not on one side or the other as with T.
