One episode of what I now know was optic

How likely is it for someone with hypochondria to actually have an illness?
left foot which is there from morning till night and worsens with heat - Constant tingling in left side of left hand much like my left foot - Small 'buzzing' patch under my left knee - Have experienced moments where the room looks 'smokey' in the presence of NO smoke, wondering whether this is optic

Steroids
I am having an MS attack at the moment of optic
neuritis
& my MS nurse wants me to see my GP asap to get steroids. I said I would not take them if they made my RLS worse but she had no idea whether that would be the case.

Cerebral ALD
He had a CT scan which showed severe optical
neuritis
. He has an MRI scheduled this week for a more detailed diagnosis. Is this a common issue for cerebral ALD?

Buzzing, tingling, fear of MS
Would MS/optic
neuritis
show during extensive eye test? So so worried :-( But im thinking 5 doctors said they were not concerned so i should believe them i guess. Anyway, just wanted to share my feelings and introduce myself to this forum.

Advice needed (very frustrated)
Fast forward to this year after years of feeling very unwell with too many symptoms to count (fatigue, swollen tongue, thingling, numbness, balance being off, position sense altered etc) I ended up in hospital with optic
neuritis
.

eye pain
I do have a damaged optic nerve due to optic
neuritis
as well as a prescription for Fresnel prisms in my eyeglasses because one eye now has a focal point higher than the other (which causes a vertical distortion in the visual field). I know eye exams are important.

Pain
My speech is slurred (Neuro stuff that I've had for a long time on and off) and I think I'm starting a bout of optic
neuritis
again (if the pain in my eye is still there in the morning I'll know that I'm heading for a relapse.

Tinnitus anyone?
In the opinion of my neurologist, my tinnitus is not related to MS, but it began during the same period when I was having real exacerbations (optic
neuritis
, trigeminal neuralgia) just before I was diagnosed.

Anxiety, shortness of breath?
Everything was fine with me besides the fact that I got diagnosed with vertigo and vestibular
neuritis
(tube that connects my inner ear to my brain is inflamed), which was caused by a case of the flu I had a few weeks ago.

Brachial Neuritis
Been looking online and the only thing I can find is brachial
neuritis
. Where the immune system attacks the nerves. Has anyone else had this, and is there anything I can do to relieve the pain.

Some good news!
Oh yes, because I've already tried that and ended up with optic
neuritis
after they took me off the injections the first time!

Femoral nerve dysfunction
Hi, after 14 months of leg and knee pain I've been diagnosed with femoral nerve dysfunction (lumbrosacral
neuritis
). I'm on gabapentin, 300mg x 2 a day. My life has been on hold during this time - I'm unable to walk far so my dog walking and power walks have stopped as has my swimming.
