Flare/adrenals or something else
I was diagnosed in January 2021 and started at 20mg Prednisolone. It wasn’t as effective as was hoped so increased to 30mg. I’ve been steadily reducing and am now at 4mg. I am currently feeling joint pain in all my joints and fatigue. Question is do I increase my prednisolone for a couple of weeks

Can you help?
Please be kind, and don't judge me! For many reasons I won't go into now, I made the difficult decision not to get vaccinated. As I am immunosuppressed on Methotrexate, prednisolone and humira, I have been keeping away from people for the past year - and it's been the hardest year of my life! I would

why after 3 months are the side effects of this bloody Prednisolone getting worse. There are those on here that seem to tolerate it, I’m so sick of everyone telling me how ill I look and really feel it! What can I do to tolerate it better? It’s like it’s gone from bad to worse. No head problems so I

what I learned while decreasing prednisone
I have been decreasing my prednisone using the slow method for about 7 months. I have gone from 17 mg to 10&1/2 mgs. During this time I have learned that prednisone does not stay in my system for a long time. I have been spreading my dose out starting the night before and then 2 doses the following

Prednisone and Blood Sugar Levels
I am wondering what other member’s experience has been with prednisone and increasing A1c levels? I had been very consistently in the normal range for long term blood sugar levels until I started the prednisone last August. Since the prednisone, my levels have gradually crept up into the pre-diabetic

Phase II 2020-0200 Clinical Trial
Hello everyone, I was diagnosed in May 2021 at 50 years old. PSA 426/Gleason 8. Had been on Abiraterone Acetate (AA) along with Lupron and Prednisone. My PSA dropped to 0.1 until recently I became castrate resistant. I was advised by my team at MD Anderson that my cancer was a strong variant type.

I was recently diagnosed with F4 Cirrhosis and I'm terrified. I found out by reading my medical record. I was first told that I had Autoimmune Hepatitis after my Fibro scan results and that I needed to start treatment with Imuran and prednisone. GI dr said that if treatment didn't work I would be put

GCA flare dosage
Hello, I'm back with another question. I've had GCA and PMR for 10 months, on Actemra and was down to 9mg prednisone. When I went from 9 to 8.5mg I had a major flare and went up to 15mg. The flare continued and Rheumatologist said go to 20mg, maybe 25mg. After 2 and a half weeks on 20mg I thought I

Anxiety hard to deal with.
Hi, Needing yet more advice please. I’m tapering down to 3.25 mg prednisolone and what I’d like to know is if increased anxiety is normal at this stage or not? Physically I’m coping well and no huge life issues to deal with at the moment! I am bipolar so anxiety can be an issue anyway but I’m finding

Taking Alendronic Acid & Dentists won't touch me!
Wanted to have some dental work done & on speaking to a specialist dental surgery, when they heard I was taking Alendronic Acid & Prednisolone they just didn't want to touch me. Have been to visit my regular dentist today who said anything like an extraction or implant he wouldn't do & I would have

Flare and reducing pred.
I have had PMR and RA for approx 2.5 years. I have been taking prednisolone in varying doses since then but have had several flares necessitating an increase each time. I managed to get down to 6 mgs but had yet another flare. My rheumy increased the dose to 10 mgs but said to reduce straight back down
