Low dose naltrexone
Has anyone with thyroid problems tried low dose
naltrexone
LDN. It is used for various auto-immune conditions. I thought I would try everything else first and keep it as a last resort. There is a large movement called the LDN organisation who I receive posts from.

Is anyone prescribed with Naltrexone to relieve fibro symptoms?
Naltrexone
has been shown to reduce fibro symptoms at low doses of 4.5 mg per day in small-scale studies conducted by Stanford University researchers. It's a very cheap drug that's used widely to treat alcohol and opioid addiction.

Is anyone still taking Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) to alleviate their Parkinson's symptoms to good effect?
When I first joined this website over a year ago there was much discussion about LDN and the beneficial effect it was having on some PwP symptoms. However, since then it has hardly been mentioned. I am asking if anyone is still taking LDN and what are the benefits they experience?

Hi All, want to know your thoughts on ..............
I am on questran, urso, sertraline,
naltrexone
, rifampicin, calcichew, thyroxine, chloraphenamine as well as eye drops and menthol/epaderm creams. I am sure I have forgotten to add something but can't remember off the top of my head.

Is anyone using low dose naltrexone?
My rheumatologist has asked me to try Plaquenil, which I am finding very hard to tolerate and I am interested in the potential promise offered by low dose
naltrexone
(LDN), as an alternative to steroids, etc.

Does anyone take LDN(low dose naltrexone) and plaquenil?
It doesn't seem that they are incompatible together as the LDN supposedly increases endorphin levels and plaquenil, well,as I understand it the jury is still out there, but it does seem to work differently.I'd be interested in any feedback.

Does anyone have experience of using LDN (Low Dose Naltrexone) and Topiramate, alongside Thyroxine 25mg please?
I have used LDN and Topiramate for a couple of years after being told (wrongly) I have CFS. LDN is an Immune Modulator and Topiramate is for Migraines. I have just started taking Thyroxine 25mg, and don't good at all! I am not sure if this is because I have started taking Thyroxine or because I am taking

low dose naltrexone - much safer than steroids & may work for pmr
Naltrexone
, when given to mice and people at high doses, raises endorphin levels in the body's effort to overcome the
naltrexone
blockade. This drug became the focus of Dr. Bihari's research group.

Do you feel better on low-dose naltrexone?
A couple of people on here have said they're taking LDN, low-dose
naltrexone
. Does it help? In what way(s)? How long did it take to have an effect? Any downsides? I have given details on LDN to all my consultants, including Professor Khamashta.

LDN low dose naltrexone
Hello spreading my good news. After a horrible bed ridden year of major fatigue and pain. I took the decision to stop methotrexate as I'd got worse not better from taking it. A friend of mine with ms told me about LDN, and how it was making a major difference to her in particular the fatigue. I looked

Low Dose Naltrexone
High everyone, I have recently been sent information about the use of this drug,
Naltrexone
, at very low doses for autoimmune diseases like Lupus and R.A. It is apparently a very old, and cheap, drug previously used at much higher doses to combat opioid addictions (!!)

I have a question about my immune issues related to the the rest of my problems. I have low lymphocytes on last blood test.......
However I have been using Low Dose
Naltrexone
for a year in the hope that it would help with these issues, and certainly I haven't had another LP incidence since I started.
