What to try next for my thyroid (+ to get pregnant)??
Hello everyone! I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in 2018 at age 38 as part of my fertility investigations (we have been trying to conceive since 2016). Then in 2019 I tested my antibodies and discovered it was Hashimoto's. When I first started measuring my antibodies in 2019, the TPO varied from

Tinnitus and Flecainide
I've been taking Flecanide (100mg 2x per day) and Metropolol for AFiB following two failed ablation for almost 3 years. My AFIB is well controlled and I've had no events during that time. I'm 65, healthy and very fit. Unfortunately, I've developed a severe case of Tinnitus that started in April 2020

Anybody here have experience with different types of anti-depressants??
I was on Citalopram for about six months, but didn't cope with it well. I am somewhat of an athlete and train in weightlifting and sports that require maximum muscle strength and explosiveness over short bursts of time... Citalopram apparently inhibits testosterone production and also functions as

SUCCESS!!!
SUCCESS!!! I had RLS for 37 years and am at last free of it! Over 3 years ago I began noticing that every time I ate almost anything, that within 1-30 minutes the RLS symptoms would ramp up a lot. About a year ago I watched Dr. Leonard Weinstock's podcast on RLS.org (also on youtube) and he explained

Hello, Its been a series of events that have led to this question. I'll hit the bullet points. Bad Anxiety, caused vertigo, cant walk, bad vertigo. Prescribed Klonopin, 3mg/day for almost 4 years, worked fantastic. Dr. Retired, cut off w/ one week 1/2 mg

Issue with restarting fluoxetine
Been taking 10mg fluoxetine with 50mg bupropion for many years. Was working well/stable. Well, i got the bright idea of stopping fluoxitine cold turkey, and just take bupropion. I did that for 6 or 7 days. BIG MISTAKE ! I crashed on the 7th day. I immediately re-instated the fluoxetine about 5 days ago

Does liquid naltrexone need to be stored in the fridge?
I’ve recently gotten a prescription from Dickson’s pharmacy for low dose naltrexone and it says store in the fridge, but it also says a cool dry place on another label. Does it need to be stored in the fridge ? I’m hoping not

The new girl
Hi, I suffer from anxieties and now depression, my dr called it anxiety disorder, I didn’t ask question as to what that meant, I figured I’ll be on meds for a while, then I’ll be back to normal, it hasn’t happen, is there a diff between anxiety and anxiety disorder? It’s been two years now, I’m on bupropion

Finishing the biggest project of my life!
I have had ADHD all my life without knowing and I feel that I have been doing fine..... until this year, the year of diagnosis. I’ve gotten past major challenges and I have intentionally always taken up so many of them since I couldn’t just stick to one focus. Although all my life I have procrastinated

Adult ADHD Treatment Challenges
Got my diagnosis 8 months ago (Inattentive) and have only seen one doctor. I've taken Adderal, Adderal XR, Vyvanse, Lamotrigine, Bupropion, and Bupropion SR. My doctor thinks I have Cyclothymia and Depression while finding the treatment for ADHD. I don't think any of these medications have worked for

Has anyone tried Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) for RLS?
Hi, I'm fairly new to the forum and have suffered with RLS for 50 years - but it has become a lot worse in the last 5 years. I have read with interest lots of posts regarding different treatments. I'm not at the stage where I want to take a powerful medication permanently so tried the Iron supplements

Cymbalta give anyone else long/nightmarish dreams?
Been having these dreams for a while now... I'm on duloxetine, bupropion, and hydroxyzine... but I'm pretty sure duloxetine is the culprit. It takes me about an hour to snap out of it every morning and I feel extremely weak and just utterly messed up from them. Only recently they've gotten much worse

Should I bring up Naltrexone again?
So I don't know how many months ago it was but when my mothers Doctors at the UC was treating my mother they recommended Naltrexone, of course when she took it, she was taking it at 50mg at night. Now prior to this I did not know the people on this forum were taking only very small doses of this medication

Has anyone tried or researched low dose naltrexone for pain symptoms? From what I’ve read is it works like opioids. I’ve tried opioids once and didn’t seem to help. Just wondered if it may work a little different also. Shows that it helps with MS and neuropathy so possible. The last increase in Gabapentin

Medications and Questions
I’ve been trying different antidepressants for about 15 years at this point. Currently on sertraline and bupropion with an emergency stash of lorazepam. Why is this not enough? When will it be enough? What even is enough? Is this as good as it gets? How will I ever know? Should I just settle?
